Just curious,
whoever wants to participate I'm totally interested.
IF you could go back in time what era and why???
Me, either the 1930's w/ pennacilin lol why, the class the style, the consistency of people knowing their roles, freshness one could build an empire without 10 years of college and a bunch of brown nosin'. The hair styles the dresses, the sophistication, dreamy.
Second choice the 60s, "Sagittarius truth" woooo fun!!!

...... Followed by World War II, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam?

For me the '70's might be interesting, But I actually would take the 1990's. They treated me well.

I think I'd have to go with the '20s, too -- the birth of movies, theatres, and Hollywood! To know -- or even suspect -- then what we know now.

I would love to go back to the 50's, to relive my teenage years. That was pre HIV and the awakening of the sexual revolution. Oh, there was so much sweet stuff I passed up. Love making up for lost time now however.

For me the 1870's-1880's in the old west. A wild untamed land being settled, I would have loved to have been in the middle of that.

"The Land of the Free Gone Wild"  LOL

One of my favorite decades as far as art, culture, innovation...and fun!  Currently reflected on my site, a truly adventurous time in history!

Each era is unique and I'll just keep the one we're in now.  They all have their positives and negative aspects.  Any would be ok as long as women who look like Fiona are there!

Thank you . I think I fit the 30s  love flapper dresses, the hair dos with finger waves, the singing the black and white film and hey the Kennedy's were still running things, lol, Joey the Irish mafia, lol. I toured these underground taverns where people partied during prohibition, I'm infatuated with the 30s. America was still so fresh. I know the ups and downs and yet I choose the 30s

I was wondering where you've been!!
Yes The Victorian England was so lavish.
After The revolution very interesting as well, I agree.
You stay warm and don't be a stranger.

So many amazing developments and discoveries and I enjoy what modern technology offers

But I have wondered what it would have been like to live in the U.S. in the 1940s.  It seems like the time when this country was the most unified.

i know that people ate less processed foods, so yeah - maybe they all didnt develop wierd funk, but no one showered much.

Thats more of a recent trend.

So if you say fuck it, why not go back to Roman times? I definately would not want to go back as a pleb though.

Hard to raise a family then though

The 50's for sure.No one had to lock their doors,if you got into a fight, nobody had a gun or knife, just fists, women were respected, you didn't use the word"fuck"in front of girls, and you played outside instead of playing video games in the house all day.It was a more innocent time,a safer time, and a fun time.

Both shows exactly paralleled the years I grew up. Then Animal House came out - although the years were different, the activities were the same. I had a blast - wouldn't change a damn thing!

I think you're thinking of the '20s.  For the '30s think more along the lines of "The Grapes of Wrath."
