Dumb question:  Why do some providers ask for 30+ gentlemen only?  Is it really that they just want to provide for older guys or is there something else regarding stamina or being rough vs wanting a gentle sensual encounter?

Is it kind of like "all you can eat" provided you can fit in size 30" jeans?

my opinion?  Yes, some of what you mentioned.  Also, there is most likely a higher level of maturity, respect and taking things slow.  Not to say younger guys aren't those things but generally speaking I believe it's true.  And as you said, the odler guys probably aren't marathoners anymore...moe like walkers...lol, me included.  For older providers, there may also be a "creepy" factor if they're with a guy that is the same age as their son...lol...not all ladies are cougars I bet...

savor the journey "to pleasure" and aren't  in such a rush to arrive at the "destination".    So I have more in common with them.  

...their male suitors to be be age 35+. Men tend to take longer to mature than women. Typically a gentleman of 30 to 35 years old has finally reached the maturity level of an 18 to 20 year old woman. He is more respectful, understands she is an individual and is less likely to play games. There are always exceptions, of course.  

You can choose to be the rule or the exception to the rule, I chose to be the exception to the rule. Every lady has their own reasons for such rules so best not to dig too much into it.

You have to convey a message that you are a professional, mature and understand that this is a business for the most part. You can't fall in love with them, expect them to fall in love with you or be their BFF texting them all the time.

Men older than 30 are most likely to be married so it is less likely they will get emotionally attached to a lady. Age difference is also an issue, ladies in their 30's or 40's might be uncomfortable meeting a guy their children's age.

Or even stiff providers.

Older men have more money.  It's not very classy to directly say it that way, so the nicer ladies call it maturity.

But it's definitely money and not maturity.  Have you spent much time reading the boards or reviews on TER?  The average 50 year old man in the hobby is about as emotionally developed as a 15 year old; it's their wallet that wins the ladies over, not their charm.

If you were a provider, who would you rather see?  A bunch of different kids in their 20's that can't afford to see you twice or a mature gentleman that might support you financially over several months if you become his ATF?  

When I first started I didn't get calls from anyone who was under 30. Then one week I did, and it made me enact the 30+ rule. (I am actually considering raising it to 35)

In this week I had one person try to write me a check (I left), then he called a few days later and said he wanted to make up for the trouble, was great until I realized after I left that while I was in the bathroom he stole back $100 of the donation.

Next, another outcall where I was given the donation an envelope and it seemed good (still naive). Left and counted the money.. $100 short. He claimed I said $100/hr.

It is the maturity level but also I just dont feel as comfortable and confident with 30 and under. I prefer to see older men because I enjoy their company more.

I'd say about as SEXUALLY mature as a 15 year old.  But emotionally?  It's hard to say that your average 50 year old is the same emotionally as a 25 year old.

I'm way beyond 35 . . .  I just can't fathom the type of mentality behind shorting someone their hard-earned cash, or stealing it back!  Not that I'm responsible, but I am sorry you experienced that; at least it didn't drive you into a new field.

........... as simple as the beer drinker says.  Take a look at what Belinda and Brienna posted above.  I have seen lots of ladies over the years and this is a common thought among providers.  Also, you cannot equate all 50 year old men to the few morons who may post crapola on these boards.  Most men on TER never post, and they are a hellava lot more mature than when they were 25.  I read that and went, WTF!  Now granted I am up another 10 years over 50, but my life and business experience has mellowed me and given me one thing most 25 year olds don't have, wisdom and appreciation for the finer things in life, providers included....ok, ok that's two things.
Money AND maturity; yeah that's just about right.
