What are the better deals out there?

I don't think I'd use all the minutes every month. Is there a way to avoid paying for new minutes each month?

What if you pay with a credit card? Can use of the phone still be traced?

I've never used one of these so thanks for the info.

I went to walmart and gotta trac phone. I think you need to add minute like once every month or so to keep the number issued. T Mobile has the same thing pretty much. They both can be purchased at walmart. I believe niether can be traced.

Phone cards available for cash or credit card from Wal-Mart etc.

You buy days and minutes.  Minutes never expire.  Service can be maintained for about $8.00 a month.

A text costs 0.3 minutes.

You can get the phones and Best Buy and Target and minutes just about anywhere, including Cub.

The minutes roll over if you don't use them and you have to buy $20 worth of minutes every three months.

You can purchase minutes in cash and reload from any computer with web access.

can be updated right from the phone, no need for internet connection except for a dummy email to set them up.

Then they are completely contract free and can have minutes added right from phone with a card bought at most SA or cub, target stores.

I have found TracPhone to be an easy and inexpensive solution.

I think out of all of them they are the best deal.. I basic phone is about 40 bucks and one great thing Target started doing is you buy a $25 refill card and you can just go back and use the same card again and the minutes go right to your phone...

buying in larger dollar amounts will give you a better deal on minutes

All you need is another phone line to setup the phone and from there nothing...

If you go with certian TracFones when you buy minutes as a bonus they double the minutes on the card and also give you 90 days instead of 60. I always pay with cash.

T Mobile.  You can buy 2 hrs for $25. You must buy more minutes with in 90 days and you will carry your minutes. After 1 year, you get an extra 30? minutes everytime you purchase.  Plus, your minutes purchased are good for 1 year.
