It seems the philosophies of the two main cities here in the metro could not be more different, or aren't they?!  The one east of the river does a sting op at a certain cheap chain motel on a certain interstate hwy about once a month and snags 8 to 16 newbies per one day operation.  
   
 Other than the paperwork, the cops and prosecutors love it.  The misdemeanor arrest & conviction is a slam dunk.   Another plus mark for their annual reviews, and revenue:   600+ fine, 325+ fee for the honor of having a parole officer to talk to once a month, and 750 for a one day 8 hour seminar where ex-hooker/junkies scream at the attendees.    
   
 For sure they don't cover their costs, but  the arrests and  convictions are used as arguments for increasing the department size and  budget.  Same with the prosecutors office.  
   
 To the question, is LE east of the river mixing it up?  Does anyone know the latest MO?  LE west of the river seems to be in disarray.   I heard their frustration level is getting high due to that scumbag representing himself and succeeding in getting a hung jury.  Is LE west of the river mixing up their MO?
