Is p411 worth it?  Reading the boards I get the sense that it is 50/50.  How intrusive is their employment verification?  Looking to break in but don't have any references and finding it quite difficult.  Any help would be appreciated.

I recommend it highly.  If you consider the cost is less than a short session and the benefits are that you are seeing verified providers ... how could you not consider it?

I got onto p411 by invitation of two providers so I didn't go through the work verification, but from what I understand they use some pretext in calling to verify the employer is real and you are an actual employee.  Then they throw that data away.

How do they verify if you're self employed?

I interpret that to mean that they might like to see proof that you own a business, a photo of you at your place of business, tax returns, a Facebook or Linkedin account, proof of home ownership, etc.
