Why go through the trouble of stealing someone's pictures as there own?

Drives me nuts when I'm scrolling through the internet and happen to run across my pictures but not my post !!

Guy's I'm curious if you go to see a girl and shes not the one in the pictures ... do you leave or stay???

but if she was good looking, I would probably stay. I usually do my research and only see reviewed ladies, so it will probably never happen.

I once went to meet a stunning busty blond (in the pictures) and meet a plain brunette. The hair color didn't bother me, but I said, "That's not you in the pictures." She said, "A girl has a right to change her looks." I reached for the door and she acted surprised and said, 'You're leaving?" I said, "Yup," and was gone.

If the meeting starts with with false advertising, I'm not going to hang around to see what else I thought I was paying for that I wasn't going to get.

As long as we're on the subject...I don't really like it when a provider lies about her age, for pretty much the same reason. When I meet a woman who advertises she's 32 and I arrive and she obviously isn't (it's happened twice), I wonder what else isn't she telling me. I understand the age fib, and cheating a little isn't all that bad, but 10 years or more is a little much. I have seem a number of ladies over 40 - and loved it - but if you say your 32 and really 45... Both told me every one tells them they look younger. Of course they do, but looking good for your age and truly looking 10 years younger than you are aren't the same. So much for my lecture.

But haven't had it crop up yet.

On the other hand, I have seen many local providers pictures used in ads--typically for services in areas they don't usually work in. I've learned to check all the info in the add and if something doesn't ad up--different phone numbers for example--I stay away.

I have on several occasions contacted the provider who the pictures belong to to see if the ad is really theres--and have been told no several times.  A couple of times providers have been thankful to be notified.  One time the provider didn't seem to care.  I scratched that one off my list to see in short order!

From what I can gather, pictures are stolen fairly often and providers do not find the advertisers very willing to deal with that when notified?

I've had long running friendships with two providers who put their faces in pictures in ads but told their SO's that someone had stolen old modeling photos. Apparently they were believed...both are still happily married. :)

The SO looks up from his laptop and says, "Honey, what's your pciture doing here on Backpage in the Escorts section?"

She responds, "Darling, am I not satisfying you?  Are you looking at Backpage again?"  She kneels.  "Let me take care of you."

"But Honey, this is YOU on Backpage!!"

Slurp.  Slurp.  "Someone must have stolen my modeling photos."  Slurp Slrup.

"Ah, yes.  Of course.  Ahhhh...."

Both SO's were in the military, so I think word got around. But you probably have it about right.
