Question of the year...
Ok maybe someone can explain the business rational on this one because from my perspective it does NOT make any sense to me. I have heard about and had this happen a number of times and I just don't get it.
When a provider(local or traveler) advertises on any number of sites looking for business. You call to book an appt for the next morning or afternoon, (in other words give them money for services they are offering) at their rate and level of service offered.
The response they comes out is that "You will need to call me on that day and we will see what is available"
Now from a business sense this is about the worst business move they can make. They have a customer wanting to make an appt, to increase their business and the provider tell them to call back the next day to schedule and will NOT book the appt the day before.
Now keep in mind, I was not asking for her hotel or even what area she was staying in, I wantd to book the appt and would confirm details (hotel/room) when I was closer the the appointed time and place.
Maybe some of the providers could shed some light on this one.
or am I just barking up the wrong tree.

I dopn't think this was the issue, She did not know who I was or anything. Would be curious to see if any hoobyist received the same treatment.

A travelling lady told me that there is a TER member that is considered the ring of pack that is not a good client. And that girls have told their agencies they will only come to minneapolis, if the agency promises not to book them with this client. But according to her, the agencies like to book this client becuase he gives them good PR and they sometimes they give him a speical deal in return.
I think the word is out that some of the TER members are not as desirable as they make themselves out to be and girls, and their agencies are only booking certain ones if their business is slow. I am sure this doesnt apply to you MDL,but this is happening to a few that are considered not be be ideal clients.
Yeah, I called Emily, too--had the same thing happen. I called her the morning she was supposed to arrive and she said she was about to head to the airport and I should call her later. I didn't bother trying back because she just sounded really bitchy. She looks like a cute girl in her pictures, but then sounded so bitchy that I figured I'd be disappointed anyways. Maybe she wants the revolving door thing going, where she can get people in and out in 20 minutes???
Well at least you got through, I am still waiting for her to return my call.
Don't hold your breath. My conversations with her was that of a bitchy and snotty tone from her. Don't need that kind of attitude no matter how good she looks!
Most of the ladies I see evidently work this way as almost every time I have tried to schedule something the day before the actual appointment, I have been told to call back the next day. There are a number of ads that specifically say "same day appointments only." I really don't get it either.
I am not defending the practice, but I have been told that some providers only take same day appointments because it cuts down on the no-shows.
If you deal in a reputable agency such as MC, Taylors, WOE and so forth....you'll generally not find a run around with appointments and likewise the agencies tend to sift through the flakey hobbiests and the legitimate/dependable individuals and screen the provider from the flakey jakes and schedule in advance, they will set up red flags for those hobbiests that are chronic no-shows or if a number of the girls state negative comments about a singular specific individual, that of course I understand and is inevitable given the nature of the business and the variety of people they meet.
Consequently, if you have an independent provider that typically schedules her own appointments or a fledgling wannabe escort agency that is unproven.... then you need to rethink the appointment and make one with one of the top traveling agencies as listed above or one of the top 10% of the proven local providers.
I have no patience for amateurs and the exposure to risk and a bust increases with bad decisions.
The question lies in how much is it worth to even bother going through a stupid dance in making a connection with a provider or an inept agency that doesn't have a clue in treating clients.
I tend to stick with the agencies that I know and they know me. It leads to less disappointments and frustrating outcomes.

Don't get me wrong, there some really intelligent, on the ball women in this business. But there a lot of women who don't treat this like a business, since many of them don't have much experience in other areas. This is a rare job where a really cute girl can make good money treating men fair to poorly. Word gets around slowly but if the prices are right there always seems to be a supply of new guys to serice.
I have to laugh when a guy expects world class service from a girl charging $$ or less. The women that really understand and treat this like a business charge more and don't need to advertise after a while. The best you can hope for is to catch one on her way up, or have a referal from a buddy who is looking to give up his slot with his ATF. (fat chance that happening)
I think ralph gave the #1 reason, that is to cut down on no shows. Anouther reason is that many providers are not very organised and keeping track of appointments to far out is beyond thier capablity. If they took these appointments they would often be no shows because they have forgotten when and where they were to be. If I was an in demand provider, I would need a booking agent/secretary. I wish Taylor would charge $25 more, hire a booking agent/secretary, get a better isp, and then maybe I would have a chance at seeing her. As it stands now, I have given up, which I understand from the glowing reviews is my loss.
