NCNS by a TER memberangry_smile

Ladies, PM me if you want his info. & the details.

Why the secrecy...It was me...NOT a NCNS.  Here is a summary:

Called while in the area, she informed me that the toilet had overflowed next door to her and there were people running in and out trying to remedy the situation and replace the carpet.  I stated that I would drive by to see what was going on and it was a hot mess next door, and not exactly a safe or clean situation with toilet water running all over and workers running in and out.  There was furniture all over and in the parking lot, multiple trucks with many workers running around and extremely noisy.

I texted and politely declined the meeting because of the situation going on right next door at her incall.  If it's my fault that the toilet right next door exploded, then I guess I have magical powers that I wasn't aware of!

Everybody remember, there are two sides to every story and I have a feeling that most any sane guy would have arrived at the same conclusion.  Believe what you will, but this is the REAL story or I wouldn't be posting a reply.

Anybody care to share their 2 cents???

It would be ridiculous to expect you to stay under those circumstances.

She gets drama queen points for this.

Well...................Let's give her the benifit of the doubt, maybe she she thinks NCNS means No Coughing /No Smoking

I didn't want to air your business on a public board, but you've opened the door. To begin with, you did NOT say you'd "drive by" in fact you replied (with an eager tone I might add) Oh, that's ok, not a problem, thank you for letting me know. In terms of your description of the environment, by the time you arrived, the carpet layers had been gone for 20 minutes. There was one person in & out of the room next door (the maintenance man) cleaning, & putting the furniture back in it's place. Two trucks parked at the far end of the motel belonging to residents, who were not out side. There was no toilet water as you described as the toilet had actually over-flowed 2 days prior. The mess had been cleaned up the day of the over-flow.

Now there's the text message. WHAT TEXT MESSAGE?! Messaging is blocked on my phone, & unless your phone dates back to when cells were invented, your phone would have notified you that your message failed. You didn't answer, or return my call, & I left you a VM giving you fair warning of how I intended to address the situation.

So yes there are two sides, & this is mine. You say you were not an NCNS. Well give me your preferred terminology & I will use it when I "blacklist" you.

This is my ONLY reply as I'm not interested in having a public "cat fight" with anyone here. I am simply going to proceed with the actions I said I was going to take & move on.

Have a great day.

Oh, really?  It seems as if the opportunity to avoid a "public cat fight" has slipped away.  Whatever the facts, I wouldn't have any interest in a provider that would exhibit the behavior displayed in this exchange.  I can get that at home for free.

You may black list him, but trust me, you are not doing yourself any good in the marketing dept.
You are coming off as a drama queen, and smart hobbyists avoid drama queens.
You brought it here, he didn't.

Hey guys...thanks for all the support in this matter, I'm glad to see that others share the same viewpoint.

The fact that she even has to talk about "when" the toilet overflowed next door and spewed crap all over says it all.  Let's face it, the situation was uncomfortable to say the least with everything going on at the time, and it definitely wasn't going to be conducive to a good encounter.

I guess I'm just going to have to be blacklisted by her, or should I say "shit"listed by the toilet next door.  I can live with that and will just have to cry in my cereal tomorrow morning.

The other poster was right, she started this, not me....I'm just defending myself.  I also have a sneaking suspicion that she hurt herself in the "marketing" area by taking this public.

Sometimes people can't buy themselves a clue....hint, hint heartsonfire1.

Just an FYI, I have a very new, and very advanced cell phone.  Notifications of failed texts have never been sent to ANY cell phone that I have ever had.  Failed emails?  Of course.  Emails are routinely rejected when it is determined that the email address is not valid.  It doesn't work that way with texts.  In fact, I sent you a text about 20 minutes ago as a test to make sure I wasn't imagining things.  Guess what?  Still no notification that my text "failed" as you seem to believe I should have received.

While I believe (see below) a lot of what you say, it seems odd that you say he did not call or show up, yet you know precisely how long the carpet people had been gone before he arrived, how many people were next door and how many cars were in the lot when he arrived.  Errr, I mean didn't arrive.  It makes me think that you may be embellishing other pertinent facts.

Anyway, I think it's normal that he may have sounded "eager" as you say for the appointment, and I believe you when you say that he did not indicate that he was going to drive by first.  But think about it.  it's a hard spot to be in.  You're heading to an appointment expecting everything to go smoothly and discretely, and all of the sudden you have all these curve balls thrown at you.  "HELLO EVERYONE, HERE I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY JUST HEADING INTO A MOTEL...NO BIG DEAL, JUST GO ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS." I think that would give ANYONE pause, even YOU if it were an outcall and the situation were reversed.

All this being said, I think the guy should have called instead of texted. You might have still been upset about the missed appointment and may still have ultimately chosen to blacklist him (although I don't think it is warranted) but it would have been the right thing for him to do.

but, given the situation, I do think a phone call by either of the parties involved was in order and a resheduling of the appt was probably a good idea also.  We all know the importance of going unnoticed and if a gent is not comfortable or feels his anonymity is at risk, then he will not have a good time and, ultimately, his uneasiness will cause the lady uneasiness and the that of course will spoil the fun.

Text messages do often fail and/or sometimes just plain go unread and ignored, not saying that's what happened here.  Both my personal and biz  phones tell me when my SENT messages fail but I do not know if that happens with ALL phones.  I imagine that would depend upon the carrier and your services.

I think the lady and the gent should discuss this privately and come to some kind of agreement as to how to proceed.  To me, it sounds like a huge misunderstanding.  How very unfortunate.    I do hope it can be resolved smoothly and swiftly so that both are satisfied!

Big hugs, Belinda

well maybe since there was furniture all over..you could have just did it on the coach or bed or blow up bed and had an audience...LOL

I would have NOT completed the appoint either and would have called or text the lady as to maybe another day would  be better in light of current situation.

I don't really know what to make of this given the differences in the stories but it is unfortunate that the two parties have not actually spoken to each other.  It may be that what he saw when he arrived as an uncomfortable situation was something she saw as nothing terribly remarkable.  After that it looks like a serious breakdown in communications that in the end won't reflect well on either person.

Everyone knows that real men carry plungers in their trunks for just such an emergency.  Carpet stretchers too.
