I tend to hobby infrequently or a few appointments in a short period of time followed by stretches of non-hobbying. References can be tricky but I have had little problem seeing a provider that I really want to see. Lately I have been mostly going the agency route because there have been a lot of (In my opinion) really good agency girls coming to town (AC, CG, Touring Companions for example). The only real problem I have with the local ladies, is that every time I find one I really like, she drops out of the hobby and thus I also lose my local reference. That's not their fault, just luck of my draw. I have used the agencies for some of my references, while it is convenient, it is a security concern as they are obviously keeping info on me. I do have the benefit of a hobby phone and an extremely common name so that if an out of state agency got popped and their records made public, the chances of someone necessarily tying the agency directly to me is somewhat reduced. In the unlikely event that LE came calling over an agency bust in Florida, there's not much I could do but lawyer up and ride it out. Playing the odds, I feel that I do not need to be overly paranoid. I am not married, I am not in a position whereby if things became public my reputation would be overly tarnished, if an acquaintance confronted me about my hobbying, I would most likely say "Yes, I hobby. So what?"  I keep a low profile when I hobby, I tend to ascribe to the KISS principle (Keep it simple stupid) in most aspects of life and that has served me well as I approach my 50s.

Just like all relationships, there are hoops you have to jump through to make a relationship work. Hobbying, is no different, the relationships just happen to be in the form of single servings. Verification is just one of the hoops. I myself absolutely love women, but for myself I find that I cannot maintain long term relationships for whatever reason. Escorts fit the bill nicely for me and if I can help a lady out in a manner that is pleasurable to the both of us (I hope) all the better.
