Fantastic topic, I'm a huge music fan.  To me music helps make connections with not only people but places.  

For me I look at this 2 ways....

I heard this song yesterday and it took me back a few years :)

Not that this is my kind of music (and seriously it's not even close) but a gal I was seeing said she had a song that she wanted to have sex too.  She play me this song and it instantly became our sexual theme song for over a year.  Talk about bringing back memories!!!
