I need to clear up some matters and reiterate some others. I was not going to go into my personal life, but since at least one person thinks I'm in another person's "back pocket" and not taking care of things on the Board, here's what my week was like. A family member in Florida was diagnosed with a rapidly growing brain tumor and given a few months to live. I decided to take the first week of September to give him full-time care. My days started at 5:30AM with getting him to the bathroom (he can barely walk any more), feeding him meals, doing dishes, laundry, errands and anything thing else that came along. On Thursday, he suffered a grand mal seizure at 6AM and another at 9AM. (One family member passed out when she saw him having the seizure .... it's not pretty.) The third one came at 7PM and I injected him with liquid valium to lessen the effects. After numerous calls to health care givers and doctors, we finally got him into a hospice. He is totally paralyzed on his left side and will never leave. Today, I left realizing I will probably never see him alive again.
I took one look at the Board during the week and asked Girl Next Door to get involved. She did and pulled the message thread with my approval. I want everyone to understand that: *I do not ask for or receive freebies or discounts from any of the providers. *I have NOTHING to say about the reviews, review policies, et.al. *Have no allegiance or give preferential treatment to anyone. *Receive nothing from TER, except a discounted membership, to moderate this Board. Finally, any or all may question how I moderate this Board, but please don't question my integrity on my relationships with the escorts. It is business and business only. And please, no replies or emails .... I'm not looking for sympathy or concern. Just understand, that there are sometimes larger issues in a person's life.
In all my dealings with srvfan, which have been limited to our TER matters, I have found him to be honest, straightforward and diligent. We are fortunate to have him.
By now, most of you have realized that we had a rather unfortunate situation on this Board last week. I am not in a situation to judge because some posts were changed or deleted or whatever.
Staff and Girl Next Door took care of this situation during my absence and I appreciate their help.
Due to the very nature of this industry, complex relationships and situations develop between clients and escorts. At times, pride and egos become bruised and sometimes even shattered. He-said, she-said, she-said, he-said, take on a life of their own with no beginning and sometimes very nasty endings.
There's a song that says "Some things are better left unsaid, some things are better left undone." It begs the question, "Was this the right place?"
This Board is a public forum and EVERYONE needs to understand that certain topics are taboo. If they must be repeated, they need to be done in a private manner .... but not on this Board. (Again, I am not just talking about this situation or any of the participants.)
A mentor once told me, "One thing I've never regretted in my life is keeping my mouth shut in certain situations."
