MPD new public service announcement

The MDP now offers a new service to the community.  Here is how it works, you call your favorite provider   for instance Brandi Love on Eros to discuss your disappointment in the Vikings loss to the Saints.  Instead of getting Brandi's opinion you get a recorded message from the MPD letting you know that they have recorded your phone number in their database and offering an overview of the penalties for the hobby.

CRASH what is that noise?  The sound of a disposable phone hitting the bottom of a trash can.

Your use of the phrase "your favorite provider" confuses me.  Do you mean that MPD is placing fake ads to do this, or do you mean they are somehow getting control of otherwise real provider phone numbers?

Yes..612.558.4947 for Brandi is a recorded message from MPD..on your eros ad.
On Alissa's webpage and EROS ad says she works with her.

What's the deal?

I can tell you this, in Brandi's case it is not a fake ad.  I can't speak to it if you were just using her as an example.

The voice mail recording says, "Your number has been logged into our database. This is a warning from the Minneapolis Police Department. Solicitation of prostitution is illegal and is punishable by up to 90 days in jail and up to $10,000 fine.

Yea right.:)

I guess my only thoughts are LE is smarter than to warn potential clients about prostitution being illegal. Like they don't already know it. You would think LE would have a female decoy answering the phone instead and setting up unfortunate hobbyists if this really is them.

Hmmmm...can we say a potential jealous boyfriend?

Just a thought.

how would the police know who is calling the number? Supposed the girl's neices or little nephews call her on that line too?

On the other hand, who would be so stupid as to pretend to be the police department on a public recording?

Then again, we're talking a lifestyle where men pay $300 an hour to get whipped with leather chains, so what the hell do i know?

i know two things for sure... brandi is an awesome provider and i have used this number to contact her more than once...  this does not seem like LE mo to me... i think someone messed with her phone on her

In Phoenix 2 years ago when Desert Divaa was busted, LE confiscated literally hundreds of contact numbers and e-mails of supposed "Johns" that had used the service.  But all they did was "recommend" that they attend councelling regarding the hazards and societal problems caused by prostitution.

Can you say: "Slap on the wrist"?

And she isn't sure who is...The phone is now in the trash and until she figures out what the deal is she will lay low...it freaked her out a lil bit, understandibly but I am sure it's someone just messin with her. She is a sweet girl, a great friend of mine, and in no way associated with LE.
