I don't know that I find them particularly attractive but I certainly don't mind them up to a point. I also doubt the providers who have them care in the slightest what we think.

I agree that companions might not care what clients think about their tats. Tattoos are art that is more self-expression, just like piercing or hair color
I'd doubt tats are self-expression -- unless they are expressing, "please accept me into this clique of tat wearers." . And I say the because tats are trendy. Nobody was "self-expressing" that way until it became a trend, then every chick had to have a tat somewhere. But chicks, more so than men, are naturally status seekers. So whatever is trending they will chase to establish their cred. Hence the epidemic of tats.. . I don't see individuality with tats, I see tribalism.
I've talked to a number of women, both providers and non-providers, about why they got tattoos. Every answer was different but I was struck by the amount of time that some spent deciding exactly what they wanted for a tattoo and what it meant to them. None of them struck me as status seekers although I'm sure some are.
As a guy in my 50's, I have a slug of nieces and nephews, millennials all and only a couple of Tats. What I have noticed you cannot just have one...two to three min.
Now that being said, yes they are trendy, but so was I at that age. I have told them, (nieces and nephews), I would have more than couple tats. I do like to the the stories behind them, and there is always a story.
The other thing I have noticed, allot of people are getting their first Tattoos in their 40's, 50's and 60's+. They have become so much more socially acceptable. Lots of memorials, tributes and passions expressed with ink.
I am personally ok with them. I just could not think of anything I want on my body permanently, (other than a few of our providers). I do not want to be that get off my lawn guy or go full Grand Torino. Tattoos for me are like motorcycles, I love the idea of them and the romance, but just not for me. just my $.02.
