I see you have been around on the Chicago board since May, 2006, yet you have no reviews. May I be so bold as to ask why? A new person to our board with no reviews asking about providers and seeking specific services would automatically make people squeamish and suspicious. And, since you have been around for several years, you do know all about the search function and how to use it, yes?
Because of the number of years you have been on TER you may get some reply's but then again, you may not.

understandable, I have attempted to post reviews (over the years) that TER will not post because "not specific enough". Sorry but just because I don't care to go into great detail I see no reason why they wouldn't allow the post. I no longer attempt to post. I do have reviews on other boards. The lady above me don't understand why TER changes her ratings...Hope you have a pleasent evening, we have tornado warnings here in Chicago, nasty weather.
However, I don't think it is a very valid excuse. When you post a review that is denied, you can check your acct mgr and see why and then make adjustments to that review. Sometimes, it does not take much. I have a doubles review that has MOST of the juiciest details left out and it posted just fine. It doesn't look as though you have had much luck on the Chicago board either. This is the exact reason why.
As for review numbers being changed...it happens all the time. It has happened to me. I just think it comes with the territory. It's TER's site and they can do what they want. I may not think it is right or fair, but it is what it is.
Anyway, hope the bad weather passes soon. We have had lots of rain here as of late and there is more to come. Hopefully, it will not be raining when you are here.
And, truly, I do hope you find some entertainment while you are here!
so a guy is coming in from out of town. get's grilled about why he doesn't write reviews in his home town. he responds politely with his reasons (TER is a pretty well establish pain in the rear when it comes to reviews), but no, that's still not good enough. geeese. I was raised in the TC. Now hobby in Denver. Had he posted his question on the denver board some would have said "do your homework, try the search function, etc." but others would have offered suggestions. So who appoints the posting police? Is that the same committee that decides if a reason for not having reviews is "valid"?
I was curious as to why a gent of so many years in the hobby had no reviews and I asked. If a reviewless lady who had been in the biz as many years had posted an ad, you can bet she would have been asked about WHY and in not the same manner, I am sure. And, for your information, I posted when I did, to head off some of those lesser friendly gents who like to watch out for their favorite MN local ladies and do tend to get a little rough and gruff on the lazy. I truly doubt any would have offered the OP options...just as they have not offered him options on the Chicago board, except once. The first time, I am sure it was because he was new and without a history. After that, perhaps because of his smart comments when no response was given or the argumentive nature the ONE time advice was given. (my apologies to the OP)
When he did respond to my post, I thanked him and even wished him luck. And, I even hoped this crappy weather would pass before his arrival here. I do not say what I do not mean. So, please do not make invalid assumptions about me or my fellow Minnesotans unless you have had the opportunity to make our acquaintance beforehand. I was being MN Nice!! Yep,sure was!
Point is: We like to watch out for own here. Sorry if you do not appreciate that about us. We have been through alot over the last year so we have a tendency to stick together here.
