Since Hepatitis A, B, and C as with HIV are blood-born STDs, such transmission F to M is believed to be probably increased during menstruation.

HIV tests take 1-3 months to become positive after infection and the infectious rate is highest BEFORE the test turns positive because the test detects antibodies that decrease viral counts.
