I can't even comprehend why somebody would feel the need to send another person rude emails or PMs on this site our outside of it.  I would think that if a provider isn't offering what they want, then one would simply move on.  

As with all message boards, there are trolls, bullies and the like.  The anonymity of being able to hide behind a user ID on a message board motivates some to be ass-hats for whatever reason.  But if those same ass-hats had to face you and say the same rude things it would be a whole different story.

For every internet ass-hat, there are 20 decent people (that's the ratio my extensive ass-hat research has revealed).  Furthermore, the decent folks probably don't post as much, or at all and this can leave you with the impression that maybe there aren't that many decent folks around; not the case.

I haven't been on this site all that long, but it doesn't really appear that much different than any other message board.  However, I'm not a provider and I'm not subject to the emails and PMs you guys get.  I'm sorry you are having a bad experience right now... I'd just recommend ignoring/blocking  disrespectful hobbyists and focus on the decent folks.  You are not doing anything wrong with how you approach this line of work.... just hang in there and stick to your guns.

and have clients that love to see me, over and over again...

why not just deal with the PMs? it's the experienced, mature thing to do.

...how many stupid, rude idiots there are out there who think they need to share their genius with the world. Do what you want, charge what you want, and adjust when and what you want. If you're busy, great. If not, only adjust to what you're comfortable with.

And you always have the satisfaction of knowing you're the one who can sell it and they're the ones who can't give it away.

I think anyone that deals with the general public on a daily basis in any profession will agree you can't make everyone happy all the time.  It's unfortunate that some people get off on making others miserable.  Just need to focus on the ones who appreciate it which will usually be more in numbers then those who don't.

You can't make everyone happy but you can make yourself happy.

And learn something from the people that disagree with you. This hobby allows us to be a selfish dick that only exaggerates our sense of power and importance. Problem is that we exist in your civilian life as well. So, I say open a discussion with the few that disagree with you and learn something that might help you navigate the hobby and the real world more efficiently.  I am not saying change your menu because of someone that demands it.  I am saying understand those people that lack respect and are dismissive of your rights. The real world is littered with people that think that it revolves around them.  

The nice thing about the hobby is that you are not going to be sued because you do not want to offer something. Unlike businesses that are required to meet industry standards or the demands of the government, you can do as you please. So, learn from these people because they are not going to go away because you vented on the board. There are always going to be those who are going to ask you in the session and those who send PMs. So I say embrace to opportunity to understand them in order to better function along with them, not for them

And for those of you who dont think it's "proper" to come on to a forum of which she is a member and vent her frustrations about asinine members of the community, let me direct you to your posts about bad providers.. or when things didnt click, or blah blah blah blah...  

Just because she is a provider doesnt give her less rights to post on this forum, and it allows her to get input from more experienced gents and ladies on how she can handle that situation..  
Personally I like that she put a lil attitude in it because it reminds all of us that we are not fuck bot drones who lack depth and emotions..  
Plus it also makes the community aware that there are problem children in the sandbox who cant play well with others and have to resort to bullying and intimidation to beat their proverbial chests like some Neanderthal..

Golly and wasnt it recently that we heard from some Maxi pad douche about how Providers should be mindful and "police" eachother about our behavior,,   maybe after hearing some of the complaints that providers have about conduct unbecoming with clients you should go to your backchannels and teach a class about manners ... Just a thought..  

MAriah you are welcome here just like everyone else , to vent your frustrations about this industry, there's alot that goes into it and this is a great place to get feedback,,
