Living in the "rural" area's or non-metro of MN, it's really nice when a lady decides to visit to make it easier for those of us not in the metro. I have a problem or rather a concern about being seen entering a hotel I would normally not be seen in when I'm from this city that is large enough for a lady to visit but yet still small enough to get recognized on the street by friends and relatives.
Example: I want to visit a lady. She's visiting the southern city where I live, I don't see her because of chance of being seen in a local hotel. Ok, so there's another southern city that gets visited also, but I may as well drive to the metro if I'm going to drive from one of the southern cities to other southern city just so I won't be seen. Rochester & Mankato!
Any other guys feel the same way?
Would having a lady visit a city that is in between (Owatonna or even Faribault) be something that a lot of southern men would like to see?

Make a noon appointment at a hotel with a restaurant.  Enter via restaurant.  Act like you belong there.  

I get the small town deal too.  Just remember that unless you call attention to yourself, most people are thinking about themselves and not about you.

Doesn't really worry me. Chances are pretty small. Great to have the ladies visit and save 3 hrs on the road. Come on down to Mankato ladies!!

I'd see everyone that would come to Faribault of Owatonna!

When in small towns where his car might be noticed at my hotel, I've picked him up and then given him a ride back to his car after.  That way he can walk in the side door with me and not have to go through the lobby.
