I am new to TER but not new to the hobby. I've hobby hunted in many different countries and by far the US is the #1 country that i've encountered where providers use fake Photos. in this day in age of Google image search and TinEye, do women truly believe they won't be found out? or is it that, most men don't care when a girl gets all the way to the door, or vice versa? I'm in this hobby for the fun & experience, It's already a NoGo when a girl says she looks like 'Janet Jacme" & turns out to look more like "Freddie Jack'd me"! this one boldly lied to me on the phone, even after i told her I saw those pics all over the internets, she insisted that it was really her pics.
False advertising must be working. Plenty of us will arrive or have the girl arrive and go ahead with a liar and deciever with fake photos. An experience with someone is better than turning a gal away that misrepresents herself -- for some. I'm with you though and won't see a gal that uses fake photos. Check the reviews and bypass those who use fake pics.
why does it seem like 89.5% of the women on BP use fakes? will someone please school me? this one even used a easily searched polish glamour model as her fake.
Many guys don't know about TER or being able to use Tineye and Google to search for pics. So long as they can get a few guys to show and pay up, they are happy. Of course they don't realize how much better the could do if they actually were legitimate providers but that would require real work.
Maybe its an LE deterrent?

i read that state " she was not the girl in the pics but I decided to stay anyway." Why feed the lie. Leave. There are plenty of honest providers that post real pics.
But why they lie about the use of fake photos is pretty obvious. Why would they admit it if they are bascically lying in the ad already with a statement that the photos are "100% all me, guaranteed" I can't recall a single time, after being asked if the photos are real, that a girl answered truthfully when they weren't. And yes, when confronted in person, and even when you show them the ad photos on your Iphone, they will continue to insist they are real with all sorts of reasons why we are mistaken.
There are essentially three primary reasons for fake pics:
1. Concern about being identified
2. Their true photos are not attractive.
3. Use of generic photos by an "agency" or pimp who simply does not have photos of their girls, or who simply schedules someone based on who's currently available.
Why do they get away with it? If its for reason number 1, and they are attractive otherwise, then they will likely use a photo that is a close resemblance. Even if not, if they are hot looking what horndog is gonna turn them down? If its reason number 2, then they simply expect a guy to be too intimidated, too drunk, or too damn horny not go through with it. If its reason number 3, its just a matter of luck but the odds are that once in the door the guy is gonna accept what ever it is.
One observation - have you noticed how the fake pics almost always include very pretty face shots, and glamor poses? Most pros, with exceptions of course, do not show their face in their ads. Some don't seem to mind but if they are working out of hotels, its not a good idea to be recognized by hotel staff.
How accurate or better yet how much should someone rely on Tin Eye? I just found out about this site, and did a look through on Backpages. Sad thing is one girl in particular whose review here states the pictures are real, well Tin Eye produced a bunch of results in some Russian websites.
Another girl "Anna" got no results, but doing a Google search of just the photo name comes up with a completely different ad on Backpages for a girl named "Veronica", different numbers even.
