I always imagine a voice to go with a new lady.  As far as being accurate, it's easier to predict the bounces of a tap dancers balls!  By the way sexiest voice ever, my aunt.   Boy did I have trouble with that as a teenager.  Lucky she was an aunt by marrage.

I just had a session today with a lady whose voice was TOTALLY different from what I'd imagined from looking at her pictures on her Web site.  I find I try to envision what she'll sound like, since I tend to prefer making first contact with ladies via e-mail or her contact form on a Web site.

Sometimes I've been pretty close, but more often than not, a lady whom I thought would have a little-girl's voice based on her photos or the (flirty) content of her e-mails turned out to have a low, gravely voice (sometimes because she's a smoker, it seems).  Other times, I was expecting a more "mature" voice and found that she sounded like a squeaky teenager (even though she was in her 30's).

Anyone else try to psych out voices?  Providers can chime in, too, about us hobbyists.  :)

Most gentlemen dont provide their physical description when they contact me, I have to pry from everyone what they look like so I can have a vision for whom I am meeting. Their voices also are interesting, as they sometimes do not match the person that shows up! Very interesting, sometimes alarming, but i like a physical description and at least one pho

Ne call before he gets my room number. Another layer of security in my eyes, even if it is just to put my mind at ease.

I only had that request one time- and I wouldn't do it.
One reason- I don't have a nice pic of myself.
2nd- why scare the provider away.
3rd- none of your business. I'm the one paying- so I get to see you if you choose to have your pic available.

If you are on a civie dating site, I can understand. But not P4P.  This is a different world.

If I tell you I look a little like Brad Pitt and when I show up it is more like Quasimodo you might be a tad disappointed.  But If I tell you I am 5'4" and weigh 270 # would you see me?

Everyone has a need for privacy.  I certainly like it when an escort's pictures show her face but understand it when they don't.  In any event, it is important for their business to have pictures of themselves to use for advertising.  That is simply not true for the guys,

It is nice to see who I'll be meeting with but the photo thing is more for identification when the gent arrives. Esp. helpful for those without any references! This isn't a common practice and I'd never deny a guy for not sharing a photo, but you'd be surprised at how many send them! Also, if you're 5'4'' and weigh 270 I'd only deny you for lying about your looks - not because of the way you look. I prefer honesty and am pretty flexible and easygoing. Your looks are not my concern but it is nice to know what I'm getting into.

....a photo can lead anyone to a person's "real" identity, too.  Providers already have made the decision to post photos of themselves (whether with full face or not is their decision, of course), but hobbyists have not.  So, I would never respond with a photo of any kind.  Several providers have told me that meeting the "unknown" (in the looks department) is part of the territory...unless they get some sort of feel for the hobbyist through the provider back-channel network.  But a face pic?  Never.

I get to hear the gentlemans voice 30 mins before I finally meet them. At first I was trying to imagine what he may look like or his personality would be like. However, I found that to often I was associating them with cartoon characters... Baby Huwey was the last one... I stopped even trying to guess! LOL

I've tried to stop wondering what they'll look like based on voice if they've never given a descrip (or maybe I didn't ask and say their date-check profile didn't mention) of what they look like tho vast majority do.

I've had a few where i've shown up at they were thrown off  by my voice but not in a bad way just because they thought I sounded more "proper" than they expected lol. Or because of my heritage/background were surprised I didn't have a more "ethnic" accent.

I thought that petite Asian would have a doll-like high, little-girl voice, but nooo....it was low, sexy and provocative.

After making good connections via email, I have had several dates go bad with phone contact just prior to meeting, because of a gravelly smokers voice. Everything else met expectations upon meeting, but the spark was gone and I could not bring it back even though I tried to overlook it.

I often get complimented on my speaking voice & have for years. I do voice over work and sing for one of my hobby .
Sometimes my daughter answers my phone for me.  Im super sorry if anyone gets to hear her Boca raton accent lol
as for guys I don't mind anyones as long as its clear.
I once had a person that wrote like an LOLCAT so I for sure thought he was some college kid.  but when he called spoke perfect grammar and was a gentlemen older than I .
