Alright!  I have a question for the hobbyists out there.  I am in MN, more specifiaaly Brooklyn Park (for those of you not familiar with the area it is about 15 min from the Twin Cities)  I have been working out of a friend's apt the last couple of months, but she is returning back to the states from Mexico this month and I have to find a new location.  Now, I have found a fantastic apartment also in Brooklyn Park area, but it is not as easy to get to.  My question is whether you would feel more comfortable going into the downtown or staying in the burbs. (Mpls specific shouldn't matter as I am sure that most cities are the same)  I am positive that I wouldn't find another apartment like this one downtown.  Discression (I feel) is not an issue with the complex, but can't decide!  Any thoughts? Suggestions?  I should also mention that I have only one or two clients in the downtown area already..... (I would think that a prospective friend wouldn't want to learn how to navigate downtown)......   Thanks in Advance

Just my 2 cents, but I would ALWAYS prefer a burb to downtown. I think most guys first desire is clean and safe more than location. I just personally hate downtown.
