A lot has been said about the service locals provide vs. traveling ladies.  My experience is that there are clearly good and bad providers in both catagories.  I have always seen locals and have run into many of the problems discussed elsewhere on the board including no-shows and poor price/performance but have also had great experiences.  This week, with everything going on here I decided to try a traveling lady from Taylor's.  I filled out the request form which promises a confirmation by the end of the business day on Saturday for an appointment on Thursday.  I emailed on Sunday night and was told that verifications are not done on weekends.  OK, I can accept that.  That was the last I heard until yesterday when I emailed again to find out if the appointment was on.  Alison responded by saying that Annemarie sent her an email saying she wasn't making the trip and needed $$$$$ not $$$ for her services.  There are two points to be made here.  First, I never heard anything from a well reputed agency in regard to my appointment and its status until I inquired again the day of the appointment.  Clearly they knew on Monday or Tuesday that the trip was not happening.  Secondly the provider didn't live up to her commitment to Taylor's so even the agencies run into problems.  Anyway, using an out-of-town respected agency doesn't ensure performance.  I think I'll just stick to the local ladies with plenty of good reviews.
