If your assertion is correct, perhaps it is partially due to the fact that Minneapolis is an interior metropolis (i.e., lacking access to a coast) with a relatively cool climate.

Your "best" bet for ethnic providers in the Minneapolis area is to find a mixed heritage lady. For example, the highest rated provider (Halle Moore) in Minneapolis -- per review standards established by The Erotic Review -- has Cambodian heritage.

In any event, the true ethnic heritage of a provider may always be difficult to establish. The first provider that I met in the hobby advertised herself as being Egyptian. Of course, I believed her assertion. However, another provider later told me that she was not from Egypt. She simply claimed this ethnic heritage for marketing purposes.

So then, here in the north country, we have lots of really fine local gals, dontcha know.  So ya, sure, they are white ladies, or sometimes of the African-American persuasion, but really fine upstanding providers, ya know.  The Asian ladies, oh ya sure, they are fine also, ya you betcha.

After all Swedish Norwegian Irish etc is an ethnicity.

Yes, ethnic heritage can be a very important matter in choosing which provider receives the envelope from a hobbyist.

For instance, let us pretend that a hobbyist has interest in Armenian women due to the popularity of the Kardashian females.

If a hobbyist wanted to experience an authentic Armenian female, then -- of course -- a provider with this heritage would appeal to the hobbyist.

A wise provider once told me that all men have a "type" of female that is most attractive to his desires. If his desires entail ethnic heritage or country of origin, why shouldn't he have the freedom to satisfy his tastes?

My ORIGINAL point was simply that it would be nice if there were more southeast asian providers in the Twin Cities? Since there is a large asian population here. (Others have possed the same thought). Not a big deal. Just an observation? Didn't intend to start a war of words! Also not a racial issue!

Anyway, I'm one of those mixed ethnics myself... I'm only half Scandihoovian.  The other half is Austrian.  Ala "I'll be baaaaaach."

There's actually quite a few SE Asian providers in the Twin Cities, just from my observations.  Maybe not as many as some metro areas, and services will vary so it might take a little more digging to find just what you are looking for.  

The Twin Cities in general is getting to be a pretty diverse area, provider-wise and otherwise.  As some people have already mentioned here, one provider might cover several ethnic groups by herself!

Sexuality and romance is one of the few areas where discrimination is practiced and accepted.  Speaking honestly, if you were walking down the street (not on the clock) and you saw me, there is a low chance you would be naturally attracted to me.  I could be too old, too chubby, too confused looking, etc.  There are any number of individual visual reasons why you might reject me out of hand as a potential romantic partner.  The important point is that you get to do this.  It is OK.  How many providers dismiss african american men out of hand in their ads.  Its OK.  They get to do that.  Now, if you refused to rent an apartment to me or serve me in a restaurant based on that criteria, that would be bad.

Similarly, as we prospective clients look through our options for short-term, rented romance, we get to say to ourselves - too short, too skinny, too tall, or I'm in the mood for someone with east asian ancestry because I find that exciting today.  Variety is a wonderful thing and I'd be less happy if every provider looked the same.

I assume I may end up in the collective doghouse for this, but deriding someone because they have "to pay for sex" includes all hobbyists.  You have reasons why you do your thing and we have our individual reasons.

Finally, you've branded every who paid to see you as a loser because they paid to see you.

I consider noticing a low number of east asian providers as compared to other areas in the country to be a valid observation.

In this instance, I don't feel that he said anything wrong, either.  This is one of those cases where we just come into the thread ticked at him to begin with because of things he has already done.  I think anyone can understand where you're coming from in this statement.  He has just been so offensive, that it is not surprising to have anyone being on the defensive immediately upon reading anything he has written.  

Why is it when guys are mean, on here, and dig themselves in holes, it doesn't seem to occur to them to just apologize for being so rude.  

For me, I've been ogled by all walks of life, and I try to smile and appreciate each and every one as a compliment.  So, whether or not I'd see you romantically in my civvie life doesn't take away from my appreciation at the compliment, and everyone who chooses to see me has already payed me a huge compliment.

I do not think Remy thinks hobbyists are losers, but there are a chunk of them that just treat women badly.  Many hobbyists have lives outside this hobby.  The OP, much like Morris, has offended enough people that they think he doesn't, in fact, have any life outside of pissing people off on here.

Is it fair to say a provider that looks "Armenian" would do? Or does it really matter what country she is from? Let's be honest here. It is the appearance that matters. The typical hobbyist from Minnesota will have little knowledge of Armenian culture, or care during a session. I use that ethnicity as an example only, as you did.

I don't know who he has pissed off (I don't keep track), but I know that it is NOT just me.

There are plenty of AMPS if you know where to look. If you're referring to other than just MPs then you're right there are a lack of Asian providers.

Most likely due to the fact this is TC the population index is quite different than LA or NYC.

I have an asian fetish among other fetishes so I can relate to your question.  You seem to be  asking a question you already know the answer to. Not to offend any asian providers here but my advice would be to explore the AMP/body rub/touring/strip clubs of the local market.  I've seen some AMAZING ladies locally through the years, many of them on tour, but traveling offers the most bang for the buck.   PM me if you want some specific advice.
