A Pl*mouth meeting arranged through Snap ended with a man being stabbed with scissors, and a woman is now facing felony charges.
The incident happened around 9:00 a.m. February 10 at a home in Pl*mouth.
According to the criminal complaint, officers arrived at the home and encountered a man who had a small bloody wound near his left shoulder. The man told police he had arranged to meet a 24-year-old woman from B*ooklyn P*rk after the two communicated on Snap and agreed to P4P. The man said he paid $ in advance and arranged for an Uber to pick her up and bring her to his residence.
When the woman arrived, the man had about 7 Franklins in cash sitting on a table inside the home. He later placed the money in his pocket.
Investigators say the situation escalated when the woman told the man to give her the money or she would call other people to come over and rob him. The man then called 911. While he was on the phone, the woman attempted to take the cash from him.
During the confrontation, the woman grabbed a pair of scissors and stabbed the man in the shoulder area, according to the complaint. Officers later observed a small bloody wound near the victim’s left shoulder.
Investigators later identified the suspect as her. Police said she was linked to the incident through multiple sources, including social media accounts, an escort website, and the Snap account used in the conversation with the victim.
Phone numbers associated with the female were also placed in the area of the victim’s home around the time of the reported assault, investigators said.
Prosecutors charged the woman with attempted first-degree aggravated robbery and second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon. She faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted of aggravated robbery, while the assault charge carries a maximum sentence of seven years.
She made an initial court appearance on Friday, where a judge released her from custody with no bail but with conditions, including remaining law-abiding, no alcohol or controlled substance use, and electronic monitoring. Her next court appearance is scheduled for March 31
