Keep in mind that some providers maintain a residence for hobby purposes only. Their regular residence is elsewhere.  

NEVER...Waaayyy to easy for things to go awry. I've attempted that route three times in the past, I was ripped off once, the girl(and two fiends) attempted it the second time and the third I'm convinced was an LE sting(I was able to avoid it - thank God). Now obviously that's not to say every provider working from home is going to do that, but I personally prefer a hotel -  public setting makes it that much more difficult for the 'snakes' to pull those shenanigans.

*Note - All three times the homes/apatrments were in nice area's and not where you might expect those situations to occur.

in south mpls when i lived there...

Just make sure anyone you see is legit and has references...it's simple....

Provider's home, provider's static incall location, client's home, or hotel.  
I personally think each has it's own merits and pitfalls.
