I'm not complaining mind you, but communication is so spotty and cancellations so prevalent that it's to the point that I send a p411 request, and it's like 24 hours later before I get a response. I write to confirm the day before, and get nothing back. Then the day of, I get an email that some emergency has cropped up that necessitates a cancellation. This from providers that use exclusively email, mind you.
The result is that I am almost constantly checking my email or the boards or p411, and so I've got like a baseline excitement level I'm maintaining. And it's costing me very little, because I hardly ever get to actually close the deal. I guess I should be happy about the hours of entertainment value I'm getting per dollar spent. But it's really hurting my productivity at work.
I worked for the government joematagats. I worked damn hard and for not a lot of money. I am grateful to have had the opportunity and proud to have been in public service. It's unfortunate there are ingrates like you who can't seem to grasp the concept of working for the benefit of others and making this world a better place.
If someone sends me a P411 request I don't get it for quite awhile however if someone sends me a text or direct email with references, phone etc things get handled more quickly .
