I am happy to see our board is coming back around. Thank goodness! I was getting a little bored with Minnesota.

As we all start to become more active on the board again, I hope we will continue to enjoy theme days. I know there are many who take pleasure in viewing the pictures of lovely ladies on our board, as they can be a lot of fun and add to the board. However, I have read the comments of some who feel posting theme days a lot can be overwhelming. So, I am posting this in order to gauge the local thoughts on the matter.

Guys and Gals:
What are your thoughts? Do you think doing theme days 2-3 days a week would suffice? Are there certain themes that you would prefer to see? Do you prefer consistency in terms of the theme and day? For example, would you prefer “Titty Tuesdays” every Tuesday or that the theme changes every Tuesday? Would you prefer the actual days that themes are posted change weekly or be consistent (i.e., consistently every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday are theme days while the other days are non-theme days...always)?

For those girls who do not participate as much, is there anything that would motivate you to post your pictures (besides the obvious...advertising and having fun!)? I am sure we would all love more variety on the theme day threads.

By the way, my photo shoot is officially booked for July 3, 2009. I look forward to posting some of those photos on a theme day thread. Can't wait!

I always am a little amused by someone's post who rags about things like people posting w/o doing their homework, or providers posting pix.  
I for one enjoy viewing lovely ladies.  This thing of our at its heart is about personal choices.  Don't click if you don't want the flick. Gia, just do what feels right to you, though I imagine you do that anyway.  

Please keep the theme days.  I enjoy it a lot.  
As for what theme for what day?  Well I say just play it by ear, you ladies have knack for coming up with interesting themes.  

Common sense should be the rule.  (i.e. If we just had a titty Tuesday, just wait a bit before starting Ear Lobe Day).  

That is my $.02

It's a thinly veiled way for the same handful of providers to post ads.  If it's done once a week (one day), fine, more than that  is obnoxious.

Not my cup of tea,

First, allow me to say thank you for your input. Second, if theme day were to be just one day a week, would you prefer the theme of the day to change or remain consistent? Is there a certain day that works best for the one theme day per week?

Also, if a variety of ladies posted pictures, would you still find the threads nauseating? Is it that the same ladies post photos too often or that you prefer not to see ass and tits on a regular basis?

I appreciate your opinion on this matter, as communicating is the only way to improve the way we do things.

The more the better!  If you dont like it dont look at it!  It really is a pleasent break to the day!  Keep it up ladies!

As much as I looove posting pics, and seeing the sexy pics that my girl friends post, we also have to remember that an overabundance of theme days quickly push real ads off the first page. And as all of us providers know, it's really frustrating to post our weekly ad and then have it be on the second page a day later! That is my only gripe with theme days.

I think if we rotate the days (Monday and Thursday one week, Wednesday and Friday the next, etc.) and keep the pics fresh (i.e., maybe not posting the same picture that guys have seen a million times) we will have a good compromise that everyone can enjoy.

That's what one provider told me. (Not that the mod would enforce that rule anyway.)
Maybe we should change the name from discussion board to provider/white knight board.  At least we'd have truth in advertising.

It is nothing but ads. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against ads, but TER has a one ad a week rule for a reason. When ads are posted in a frequency and quantity that leads to the exclusion of other dialogue then, yes I do have a problem with ads.

These boards used to be a place where "adults" could laugh and joke on an adult and non PC level. Now it is dominated by ad posts and judgemental hypocrites that appear better suited for a church social instead of a board populated by "adult service providers and their patrons"

I do know what you're talking about in reference to that other board. I think maybe the influx of ads here lately has been due to some other advertising venues shutting down/becoming useless (and you know what I'm talking about). We have to get our business somewhere!

Aside from the occasional picture day, though, I think most of us are really good about posting ads only once a week. I always keep track of how long it's been since my last one. Personally, I don't really think of picture days as advertising - I just get off on posting sexy photos of myself! - but since so many people seem to be bothered by it, I think we can come to a compromise and only do them once or twice a week.

Who said we can’t compromise! We are flexible. How else did we become such great providers?

When our board completely comes back around, it will do so in full force! Of course it will, because we will all be sexually starved (yes, I said it!) and in need from this second-rate, mediocre MN hobby right now (Harsh? I know). Seriously though, we will all NEED to have a little (or a lot of) fun to make up for lost time! Mmmm…I can’t wait!

So, a compromise in terms of theme days can be a good thing. It will keep many of us happy without overwhelming those who do not prefer to see pictures of ladies daily.

Perhaps we can use the “loose” guidelines below when starting theme day threads. I say “loose” because I am not the theme day police. However, these “loose” guidelines might just be helpful when attempting to please all…or as many people as we can.

“Loose” Guidelines (compiled feedback from reply posts and PMs):

-Post the initial theme day thread before 7am-8am as to not push ads from the day off the board.

-Post theme day threads no more than twice a week. (I know, this is a bummer for those who really love the sight of female skin. Yum!)

-Post theme day threads consistently on the same day a week so all ladies know which days to avoid when posting their weekly ads (who really wants their ad pushed off the page?) and so that other ladies can get prepared with which photo to use that day.

-Post ambiguous theme day threads once a week out of the two theme days posted. One fabulous lady suggested we do one day a week in which the theme could be anything. Her idea was “Twisted Tuesday” alternated by “Titty Tuesday” the next week. Another lady PMed me that she felt her photos never fit the theme, so a general theme day such as “Twisted Tuesday” would be perfect, allowing for any type of photo. Now we can all participate! Cordial’s idea of posting alternating themes on Fridays sounds appealing as well.

-Post *PIC* or some indicator of there being a picture in the post. This will allow the gents (and bi-sexual ladies) to know which posts have pictures vs. those that are simply shilling.

Ok, I think that is everything!

MN is a unique board. We will not end up like those other boards having issues as a result of their theme day threads. We are the best!

For those interested, perhaps we could do “Foot Fetish Friday” this Friday (I am getting a pedicure tomorrow, so that would be perfect timing...he he). If I am not up before 7am, perhaps someone else will start the thread. Don’t we all love rules!

Gia - I think we have all come to realize that you have a nice perspective on life and want to make this a better experience for all of us.  I, for one, value your unique insight and opinions.  And, the totally rocking bod you are packingwhich goes without saying (but I did anyway)!  Keep up the good work, both in print and otherwise!  Muuaahhh!

As long as providers have links elsewhere to their photos, what I really enjoy here is getting to know them a bit as real persons, getting a feel for their personalities during the discussion and banter.
