Dont flash the underground they have cameras
Dont flash men in black merceedes with windows on dodgy raods
Dont get  on a boat with two Israelis and a Jap(no disrespect meant there)
Bin laden lives in slovenia
200,000 local and visitng women 1/4 of which are traficed globally are smuggled each year out of eastern europe

On a much more serious note eastern europe and the  poeple we met had a huge impact on us and learned so much.  As some of you know for very personal reasons I am ani CNN.  The picture of modern and current affars and history is much more accurate in impactful coming from those who were there and were  not with CNN!!!!!  I know of couple of you I see often have already asked about some of those countries I visited because I think you know my particular intrest in that region but for any others of you who I see if you are interested I would be happy to tell you.  Learned a little about the donts of being a jounalist in middle east right. I know we are all familar with danny pearl and if you watched harrisons flowers i think is said 49 journalist were killed in yougoslavia in 93 but a guy that I have been getting to know said there we 71(i think that was the number) between mid 93 and 95  inlduing some of his collegues he had worked with for  slovenia national tv. And although he is 27 he is like 50 and trust me thats about how old most of the young people were that we met  extremely serious. Glad to be back I hope it kools down some I will be happy if I never see another train,bus, boat,plane or car agian in my life  Or the sandles I wore...
