It's probably posted to start conversation since all the boards are pretty lacking! A new "policy" to discuss it doesn't mean it hasn't been going on for ages!! Just sayin'!!

I hope people can express their opinions without insulting those with whom they disagree and that people will think about what they post and not simply react emotionally.

Since you are a newbie, I will clue you in. BBFS has never been allowed to be mentioned in reviews. While the subject has been broached on the boards, direct discussions about specific providers and hobbyists engaging in such behavior has not been allowed.

I think this change is monumental on TER, and an important one.

Everyone already knows it happens. That was not the point.  

With an indication of the demand, one might foresee a trend toward this on the menu from the more desparate of providers, especially in a bad economy. This site will become a magnet for those hobbyists that frequent the crave this and by making it easier for those connections we increase the risk for everyone.
