ladies that make the trekk up here and it seems to me they're able to make it worth their time and travel but variety is the spice of life and I always encourage more!  That doesn't help someone in Duluth much as you're still 2 hours travel time away.

I just have to ask.  My situation is simple.  Money isn't the issue but time is.  I seldom can get down to the Twin Cities where more opportunities exist.  Look at our only viable resource Backpage.  The listings are bleak to say the least.  Occassionaly we get a Twin Cities lady to venture north but more often than not they cancel because of a lack of interest.  Hillary Holiday most recently comes to mind.  Rochester and St Cloud get more action than we do.  To be honest, the recent listings on Duluth BP are not that appealing, tend to be a bit sketchy (like the session that I was robbed at this summer) and of course there's always the LE sting possibility.  We all want our name in the local paper for our neigbors to read.  If we were able to get some reviewable and reputable providers here life would be much better.  So I ask the question again, who in the Northland hobbies (Duluth or 70 mile radius).  Maybe we can collaborate on a desired provider and convince her to visit.  I understand their position; it has to be worth their time.  If I'm the only one out there well I guess I'll jst have to suffer.  Any feedback would be appreciated.

search for the lady you desire, contact her and ask her what it would take to get her to visit you.    You will be surprised how many ladies are willing to travel to you for a day or shorter.  

Since I too, live outside of the Twin Cities, I have used this tactic with ladies from the TCs, Milwaukee and Chicago with great success to get  several ladies to my home town.    FYI, I have only done this with ladies I have seen before and some more then once.

Emails expressing genuine interest, a willingness to Pre-book,(you don't necessarily have to book Multi-hrs.) Some will throw up an ad surrounding the date you are requesting & see if there are enough bites to justify a tour ect.....ect...... In other words, ask & we will come!

I travel to Duluth to see family every couple of months.  I've recently thought about making a few friends while I was there.

Out of all of my trips to the wonderful state of Minnesota, Duluth is defiantly my favorite place to travel.  As far as worth while, up North places Duluth and Grand Rapids are both great places to stop in, or at least were always great to me.  I am not sure why more ladies don't travel up!  And just in case the ladies are wondering Grand Rapids is great because you can catch people from Duluth, Bemidji, Aurora, Big Fork and all of the country in between.  They may need to go to Lowes, Home Depot or run to town to pick up some orange softballs. (inside jokes sorry most of you won't get it)

Oh how well I remember the orange balls . Lakes are in great shape now to play   Ha Ha

I have a growing suspicion you would not regret this offer.

Great topic! There have been some in the past such as Samantha which has not fit in to my schedule. Last spring found a bp provider that was at a popular run down hotel in the town by the lake wow what a mistake the room was filled with what looked like a weeks worth of trash should have split but thought there night be a confrontation if I did.  It would be nice if we could get some help in the North!

who either get 1 request, no requests, or cancellations.  We cannot justify a trip that far in these situations.   We like what we do but this is a business and we are in it to make money not lose money.

But if I can't find gentlemen who are willing to pre-book and make it worth the trek, its not very profitable to travel.

My assumptions are that most hobbyists are attempting to fly under the radar in pursuit of the hobby. Further assumptions follow. Most of the guys (hobbyists) are married or have a significant other. Their hobbying schedule revolves around times when their wife/girlfriend are somehow preoccupied. Finding those available moments to hobby becomes difficult when the primary driver is the schedule of said wife/girlfriend. What are the odds of a small group of hobbyists having the schedules of their wives/signifigant others all line up at one time? I don't know the answer to that but I'm guessing it's slim. Therein lies the difficulty in convincing a quality provider to make the trip to a small market. Ladies.....I fully understand the business side of this equation. Why travel if you can't make a living???? So....until the hobbyists in the northland can get on the same page we may as well become accustomed to the status quo. In my opinion, the responsibility of getting the providers to commit doesn't fall solely on the provider(s) but rather on the hobbyists of the northland, as well as the providers. I've personally contacted a few hobbyists in the northland and have recieved luke warm interest in bringing ladies to our area. The responses I've recieved primarily revolve around scheduling difficulties. The providers can help by pulling out their northland contact list and seeing if they can get commitments from others in order to justify the visit. I know this already takes place and asking someone to spend time on something that isn't a sure thing is self serving to say the least. Now we've come full circle. Northlanders.....either be willing to travel, accept the ladies in your area, pay the price for a provider to make the trip to see you only, or we (hobbyists/providers) get together and make commitments for bringing quality ladies in to our area. Personally I'm willing to spring for a nice lakeside room, some wine, and a substantial gift card to a wonderful restaurant as my part of the incentive to bring a provider to the area. I'd prefer not to go it alone but if that's the only option I will strongly consider it.

Sounds like fun.  But I like leah's suggestion of Grand Rapids.  It's more centrally located in Northern Minnesota.

I agree with Makwa. Grand Rapids is 83 miles from Duluth, 70 from Bemidji, 80 from Brainerd, and 60 from Virginia. There's a pretty large population base to draw from in that radius. For me it's a little over an hour to GR, 2.5 hours to Duluth, or 3.5 hours to MSP. With those numbers it's hard to justify Duluth over MSP but GR is a good compromise.

Great post britton.  I've certainly seen that some lovely ladies have been near me at times when I just can't make it work for a variety of reasons.  A couple of other thoughts.  This board only allows full members to chat with each other.  If there was some way for full members and providers to chat with non-members I would bet a goal of getting a number of people lined up for a profitable visit could be greatly enhanced.  Another thought from the provider end:  One I occasionally see asked if she could send me a text when she was considering coming to the area.  My sense is that she has a number of other guys she does the same thing with.  She'll get one or two people asking her to come up on a future date, and within a day or so can get an idea of whether she can find enough others to make it work.
