Some people will post a bogus link to get the ad posted. Some ladies just rebump an ad...that was posted BEFORE the new rule. That's why there is no link. If it ain't broke, why fix it. I don't really understand the whole must post a social link.....doesn't really prove anyone is legit. Just means they put extra time in advertising. Whatever I guess....
Has anyone noticed the links to social media accounts (FB, Instagram, Twitter, etc) being listed in the BP ads now? I've clicked on a few on them and got replies like "the page doesn't exist," "there are no postings for this account," or just a blank screen. Does that signify the ad is fake, LE or the link is some sort of virus?
I also checked ads for a few reputable providers and they don't have those links attached to their ads. What gives?
After clicking a few and realizing they're almost all fake, I assumed they're now a requirement on BP. Either that, or they push ads with a social media link toward the top of the list. I've also seem posts elsewhere from providers complaining that a social media link is required. No idea what they're trying to accomplish, but with all the dead links I would call it a failure.
for the feedback. I was recently traveling out of my home area and noticed the links on the local ads, then saw them more and more in other cities as well. Since they weren't valid, curiosity got the best of me. No harm, no foul. Thanks again....
