Is this photographer a genius or is this a little disturbing. Any pro photographers wanna weigh in on this?

"Good" photography delivers a clear emotion to a targeted audience. If she reached her intended market, if the message was on purpose, the pics are great!

Wouldn't it be fun if she did a new series from time to time reflecting her different physical/personality traits?

PS If she paid someone (these have a raw, DIY flavor, on purpose I'm assuming) and it was more than a say, $300, I'd be concerned either way, though.

I did meet her, and I remember her saying something about she was going to have new photos done. In person she is a really nice girl, actually one of the most friendly and personable girls I have met to date. In fact after talking to her on the phone I set a meet just on her personality alone. Don't know if it comes through well with these pictures, but let me say in person she is one of the nicest and friendliest girls around.. in fact you could easily spend an hour just conversing alone.
