Of course! I mean it was over a year and three weeks since we had been linked up with our favorite cast of casualties.
While the whole episode was great, Arya was by far the winner of this episode in my book. Arya is like the Caucasian John Shaft. “When people ask you what happened here, tell them the North remembers. Tell them winter came for House Frey.”….BITCH.

... I have to admit I've only watched about 15 minutes of GOT. One night in my hotel room a few years ago, I decided to check it out. I watched for awhile, and then I realized, I don't care WTF happens to any of these people! It's all fantasy!
Which is to say, I prefer serials where I can relate to the characters and their situations. I have trouble relating to serials that are all fantasy (movies are ok, eg LOTR--they're short), because I think, this could never happen. So I loved Mad Men, for example, because all of it could have happened. And I'd probably like The Sopranos, if I ever devoted the time to watch it. Sci-fi is ok with me, if I believe that what's on the screen *could* happen someday--maybe in a galaxy far, far away. And I like fantasies like Wonder Woman (movie) because even though the heroine is a fantasy, it's set in the real world... just a real world with superheroes.
Anyway, now that I'm on lots of DNS lists... it's been a lot of fun the past few years meeting many of the great providers of Minnesota. Adieu!
15 min of a random episode isn't going to get you engaged with the characters. Some you care more about, some less, some you think "where the hell did they go", others you think "wtf? I didnt see that happening".
BUT you need to watch from the beginning and remember "Valar morghulis" ... "All men must die." No character is safe. This is like watching The Soprano's and Tony gets whacked at the second to last ep of the first season. Its not the ned of the series, but the driving force of everything that comes after it.
... That's what I'd do if I watched it from the beginning. 😲
The episode I watched was the season premiere several years ago. Fifteen minutes was enough to tell me it wasn't my cup of tea. Not because of the quality of the show. Just not something I could get into such that it would be worth spending many hours on. Also, not having HBO has something to do with it. 😏
But I do need to watch The Sopranos some day... week... month... year?
