Ladies, so is it worth it to try different schedulers and if you don't mind emailing me, I have a bunch of questions ❤️ thank you

Seems to me to be a good spot to talk to providers...

Ik but idk why they haven't approved me into the providers chat

I’ve requested 2-3 times for access to the provider board and despite being an active provider since 2018, I’ve been denied each time. But feel free to message me I may be able to help.

Hey There! I'm game to chat via email and I'm sure the provider board will also have thoughts. However, I also know there are providers who either don't have access to the provider only board or don't care to so I figured I'd put some general thoughts out there on assistants.

Prior to hiring on an assistant, ensure that it makes sense for your business. Is your profit margin growing or at least staying stable enough to cover your expenses and your assistants pay? Does demand currently exceed your capacity and you feel strained (re: replying to emails/screening in a timely manner)?  This may also beg the question of there being a need to slightly increase rates to decrease demand if necessary for your own work/life harmony but that's another topic for another day.

With respect to hiring on an assistant/scheduler, I recommend researching and coming up with a shortlist of 5-6. Contact those 5 to 6 and set up phone or zoom interviews. Ask if they have clients (re: other providers) you can reach out to for references, do so. Then set up a paid trial run with 2 of them for a month at a time. Please note, you need to be on top of your OPSEC because you're going to be sharing access and frankly, assistants should be A1 about OPSEC anyway. During the trial runs, monitor your inboxes (which you should do always even if you have an assistant). How do they communicate with people? How do they reaffirm the boundaries you have? How do they handle conflict? How do they communicate with you, etc. The right assistant will fit into your workflow, will help optimize it, AND will also help you grow because if you grow, they do too.

At the end of the day, your assistant/scheduler is a representative of your brand so selecting the right person is quite imperative. I've seen colleagues lose bookings because of how their assistants could be via email and I've personally had clients tip extra so I could tip my assistant at the end of the month.

How do you keep an assistant safe from LE, since he or she is assisting in an illegal activity?

Paige's system is such that the admin is clear and inviting and does not detract from the excitement we are all building up for.

Emkay's system was almost the opposite -- it had to be fought through, though I'm glad I did.

So yes -- upgrade the system :-)
