I have seen many local providers-Twin Cities Areas and also during business in other cities. I have been doing sole searching since 1994. There were many great girls comes and go and whom I became friends with for many years and perhaps a lifetime friend. But sad to say lately the local becomes providers are so-call rip off. I don't have any static data to prove my point but I'm will to bet that the touring ladies have taken business out of our local gal. I don't usually write about this but since the competition is now so out of reach for our local gal. They need to a point or two.
We (men) are weak. Give us what we crave for and you get what you want. If we like it, we come back for more. The more we get, the more you win. We want:
1. Beauties:
Yes I hear you. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Still beauty is still beauty. By all means, anyone can separate none beauty from beauty.
2. Attitude:
If you don't like what you do. STOP. Don't do it. Find other
only way to make ends meet. Once you decided that this is what you want to do or that there is no other way and that this is the only way then enjoyed it. Fake it that you like it. We don't care. Act like you are having the best time of your life just for an hour...It is call work.
3. Performance:
If you don't know what you're doing, ask your friend at TER reviews and most importantly your clients. After each session of each client you can do a performance review of yourself just like other work places by asking your clients to review your good points and bad points. How to improve yourself next time? Would this person see you again? Why or why not. Any recommendation for improvements! Keep the goods and improve the bad. If he gives you a bad review, don't take it personally. Thank him. Use the data to improve yourself and perhaps also a friend.
4. Don't cheat:
Don't ripe off people. It's a bad business in any form.
You KNOW why we called you and wanted to meet you. Don't act like you are from MARS and that we just wanted to see the stars.
Even if we never talked about or mention, you know why we are there. You know why YOU ARE THERE.
5. Fair is fair:
If you meet a client who is not to your desire, personal hygiene, body weight, height, race, religion, social status, even his IQ or the color of his suit, etc. Kindly informed your client of your up most professional decision and take only the appropriate fee (not all) for your trouble and leave or ask him to leave. As a client I have used this rule before. "I'm sorry I was expecting someone else. Nothing personal, you're just not my type. Here's $$ for your troubles and good luck. Best Wishes. Good bye". For clients also, Always give the agree gift plus little extra if she special. Always treat her with the up most respect, love, and caring.
6. When meet be at your best.
As providers, we know that you were probably very busy, but we still expect you to be at your best and expect NO LESS. Freshening up yourself before each session. Take a full shower or full bath, clean up yourself. Light make up. New clothes-underwear etc. New perfume. New attitude if previous session was bad. Take one day at a time, one client at a time. I hated when I noticed that provider is not at her best. I'm sure I'm not alone in this department. As a client, I am always at my best when meeting a lady as if I'm going on a date with the girl of my dream-sole mate. Take a shower just before, all clean clothes, flesh cologne, a mint to freshening up my breath. Always nice to hear a lady saying--wow you smell good, what is it. Wow you look so nice.

A very astute and eloquent description of our rather paltry and sub-par choices in the metro as of late. I do feel that there are several quality individuals in the metro area that still enjoy the companionship of a gentlemen and honestly strive to treat the man well and well enough to invite a repeat appointment and a consistent client base, but an alarming segment of the local providers have displayed a selfish and flagrant conceit in themselves, simply not caring to provide a quality experience and with their primary interest in collecting the donation. This sort of mindset will prove to be the demise of individuals that will have to compete against the visiting girls that have graced the city recently. I have since not bothered to deal with the local girls that have been reviewed poorly and stayed with the ones that have proved themselves to be a class above the rest.
The influx of visiting providers is a welcome sight and the quality and reliability of the agencies that sponsor the girls is certainly refreshing. I for one think that this area is untapped compared to the other bigger markets, such as Boston or Miami. We can only hope that the trend in visiting-touring girls is here to stay. It is indeed refreshing and certainly makes me smile a hell of a-lot more at work to have these beauties make their way to this part of the country.
My sentiments exactly. I haven't seen a local provider in months, and have had several over the top experiences with traveling gals in the intervening period. Hopefully, the infux will keep up its present pace.

I think the complaint is the same in each city, with a few exceptions of course. Eros and City Pages have always been littered with cash and dash, you can read about this on other boards.
Are there ever enough top quality ladies to choose from locally? I guess it depends how often you hobby.
I hear this complaint from traveling gent's all the time about their own home towns.
I do also want to add that I've been asked quite a few times to travel. Just last night two gents from Colorado and California asked me to schedule a trip. To the San Diego gent I said, "you have a ton of beautiful local ladies to choose from" His response: "Yes, but there are never enough are there".
Ladies come and go. Some travel, some don't have a need or inkling to travel... too much business locally.
Bottom line... do you ever have enough of a good thing.

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence! Is it better grass? Maybe, maybe not, but it is different.
If you want constant variety there will never be enough quality "local ladies" no matter how large the market is. The visiting ladies & your own travels are probably the best solutions if you think you have exhausted the local talent.
If you want to visit a lesser number of ladies & get to know them on a more regular basis that's another option. Quality providers know the importance of repeat clients & are savvy enough to vary their skills to keep you interested & coming back.
Ladies, if you aren't spicing things up with your regulars perhaps you should think about it. Remember there is wonderlust in every man or he wouldn't be participating in the hobby.
The reviews provide a basis for finding the right providers & I find that the ladies often will make recommendations if you are looking for something special that they do not provide. In spite of the reviews YMMV & reviews may typecast the ladies, which may be grossly unfair. The quality ladies know how to handle the reviews & if you are visiting a lady for the 1st time perhaps you need to discuss your expectations.
The traveling ladies are the flavor of the week & that's fine. But there are some pretty fine local ladies that will make it for flavor of the month & flavor of the year if you are willing to seek them out & treat them right. These ladies are special & you'll get more than you give.
Bottom line Misty...depends what you want...variety is great... but let's not lose sight of the fact that we have some exceptional people in our own backyard!
I am not sure which local providers you have tried but it is unfair to say that the local girls are rip offs!! If you are looking on tcuncovered, then listen to everyones advice about it!! You might as well call from the city pages!! If you would check on a girls reviews and do so research, well then you should be ok. If you don't, that is your own fault if you get burned. I know that several of the well know LOCAL providers here in town have been very busy. Your post sound ignorant to me!!

I know many local providers who are great! I doubt if you are right about all touring providers. From my limited experience with touring providers, I have been let down as much by them as I have been by locals when I haven't done by homework and checked out reviews and other feedback. You have be prepared in more ways than one when you are interested in this hobby.

I’m not saying ALL the local gals are not up the challenge. As I have said before, I have made many friends (VERY GOOD FRIENDS), possible for a lifetime.
I look at it this way. Local gals are TEAM-X. Touring gals are TEAM-Y. There are only a few good players in Team-X. Most if not all of Team-Y players are good; some are exceptional, all star athletes. A few miss-catches, a few miss-goals or a few fumbles and your fans will give you the BOO cheers for the entire team-local team. It is just the nature of the sport.
If I do touch a sort spot, please do not take it personally. Take it as an advice for improvement. Criticisms are your greatest powers. It is a tough tough sport. Only the best equipment both physically and mentally excel. It’s time to start looking at new game plans, training strategies, and state of mind when you are in the field. I truly believe that our local players can step up to challenge if they shape up together as a team.

Familiarity and complacency sometimes go hand in hand. The quality of touring providers that have visited our fair city have upped the ante and perhaps stirred something that had not been present the past few months and that some of the local providers that have been sub-par as the various reviews have revealed have taken for granted the past few months, and that is simply the presence of a competitive market in which the hobbyist can have the pleasure of a fresh face and a fresh attitude without the disturbing baggage of inconsistency in some of the less than quality providers. I agree with the previous posting that some local providers are most definitely in the same class of the best, such as Madison, Catherine and a few others have a fantastic reputation in the community and do not need to worry about negative comments that are not intended for them, but others that are certainly not worth seeing would perhaps feel a decrease in demand for their attention.
The beauty of TER is the variety of expressions and opinions that are generated and that hopefully will make this city a better place for both the providers and the plain joe that only wants a great cup of coffee to put a smile on his face for the rest of the week.
I do tend to agree, if you are speaking ON AVERAGE. Overall, the local market seems high in price and low on beauty / service / attitude / etc. And I have lived and played in enough different areas that I do feel I have a basis for this evaluation.
But the average does not apply to everyone - that is very important. There are some excellent Ladies in this area, and some of them are excellent values as well. Random calls to yellow-page ads or palces like tcuncovered will lead to a lot of bad experiences in ANY city. "Caveat Emptor" is true in any larket, but especially this one. It is certainly unfair to put all of the blame on the market if we are not making the effort to be educated consumers.
The touring Ladies are on average a much higher class. They are also pretty pricey, in general, and their often hectic schedules make it hard for them to ignore the clock, maybe hang around and chat, cuddle, etc. after the scheduled end time. They can also get worn down at the end of a long tour. A local independent, who sets her own schedule, CAN offer advantages in these areas.
Anyway, I think the local market is not as good as many (Dallas, Atlanta, and Nashville spring to mind), but there are gems to be found here as anywhere. And I think that the touring Ladies offer some great options, but they are not a panacea.
To few of you are really festing up to the fact that our local girls are not really trying to please their clients. A constant series of disapointments have jaded most MN men towards locals.If your ever in a high traffic area like Florida, you will see that in order to survive you must be good. Don't support a provided who doesn't give you her best effort EVERYTIME. She takes the money, your expectations should be met.
MN men look else where.
