Going to be in the Twin Cities this week and am doing some research for a meeting. It appears most ladies have a upcharge for outcall which is my preference. In most other areas I travel the charge is often the same incall vs outcall, and in some instances a lower rate for outcall. Besides the weather, is there a reason that ladies in that region prefer incall over outcall?

The rate doesn't really factor into my decision, just curious for the reasoning.

But I do agree that lately more seem to charge more for outcall, presumably because of the extra time it takes.

It's a matter of time and convenience. Most of the ladies I know in this area maintain an incall location furnished with everything they could possibly need. For an outcall appointment it's a matter of packing the goody bag, travel time, traffic issues, and parking. If I drive downtown I allow a minimum of 45 minutes each way in addition to the scheduled appointment. In other areas like Las Vegas, most providers do not maintain an incall. They charge less for outcall because they don't have to get the hotel.

And he has a travel charge.  And I would think outcall would be riskier.  Your on someone else's turf and often it's a total stranger.  I'm surprised anyone does it for the same price.

Which is why I also charge more for outcall, because of the extra time it takes to get there etc
And I have a separate apartment that I maintain as well for playtime and it's definitely very convenient for Me compared to Outcall.  But I'm happy to discreetly bring as many of my goodies as possible with me when visiting somebody.  

 
In the end, it's all about what works best for each client as everyone's needs/wants are different

Thanks ladies. I travel a lot and this seems to be pretty unique to the Minneapolis area and I was just curious.

...the Hobbyist's home. When you see a Hobbyist at his hotel you can guarantee that there are no nosy neighbors watching to see who's coming and going plus the host has full assurance that there's no one lurking in the closets. So, neutral turf, no nosy neighbors, no one lurking in the closets, no pictures of close family members about the apartment and, best of all, no cats!  

I don't give much weight to the argument that a Provider is losing money by offering outcall at no additional fee. Is she really that busy that each hour of her day is so precious that she loses money by seeing a client for outcall? Likely not. And, if she is, she's probably more high volume than what I'd care to experience. Hardly ANYONE in the whole world, or, in the U.S. makes anywhere close to $300 - $500 an hour or per day or per month. I'm very happy to pay $300 - $500 / hr depending on how hot you are but, paying more for outcall, more often than not, turns me off. In many cities, a gentleman pays less for outcall than for incall.

Outcalls are definitely safer for the client (largely due to the fact that LE is EXTREMELY unlikely to conduct an outcall sting), but there's really no benefit in terms of safety/privacy for the provider.  

That said, I personally prefer outcalls because it means a higher profit margin for me (no overhead cost for securing an incall) but I can definitely see why some gals may charge a higher fee for outcalls. Hell, maybe it's just because it's fucking cold up there!

I prefer outcall as I feel one lady coming to my room is much less likely to raise eyebrows as opposed to a couple guys going to a hotel room, or a number going to static incall apartment over time. I prefer it so much I have no issue paying an outcall fee as opposed to visiting a ladies incall.

It is fucking cold too, I'm glad I don't have to leave my hotel room tomorrow evening, lol.

Whenever I schedule something like a 1 hour appointment with any of the incredible women I have met here I figure to spend 3+ hours of my day committed to it.

I groom and bath meticulously, I know one woman who already responded in this thread that appreciates a clean man who doesn't throw on cologne. This can take up to 30-45 minutes (Shaving certain portions of your anatomy, carefully, takes time!).

I live about 20-30 minutes from their in-call locations without considering traffic.  I am one of those people who respect other peoples time, and believe being early is much better than being late.  (However!  That does not give me the right to bother the lady earlier than I am scheduled.)  I'll spend 5-10 minutes dinking around, checking e-mail, googling something interesting until said time comes.  I'd do the same thing for a business meeting or even simply meeting friends, why shouldn't I extend her the same courtesy?

And after this incredible experience I was fortunate to share with someone I find interesting and wish to spend time with I face my commute home.  Again figuring  20-30 minutes without traffic.

Now for me,  this is fun time. For the lady in question this is her livelihood.  You can get into maximizing call volume and fast turn around = more customers and more profit but I simply don't care.

But it does illustrate why a provider who has an in-call location would charge more.  She would have to do all those things for me.   Limit her clientele basis by a factor of 2-3 in order to see me, then show up with road rage whilst simultaneously trying to be sexy for me.  AND still have to factor into her budgeting providing for the, now irrelevant, but still expensive, in-call location.

I would much prefer to spend my time getting ready for someone as mind blowingly awesome as Portia, meeting her at her in-call with her happy and in good mood, HAVE HER UTTERLY DESTROY ME! and then muse happily while driving home.

...she loses a margin of safety by many men, essentially strangers, knowing where she lives or works out of. Nothing bad might ever happen by a stalker but we've all heard of situations where clients disrespect boundaries, show up unannounced or have other evil plots in mind.

Ya...no shit it's cold up here!! But, on the bright side, we only have 3 more months of this before it's over!

My point is that you're always safer on your own turf, so to speak, and that goes for both sides of the equation. You can't eliminate risk with any degree of certainty, but you can definitely mitigate it.  

I say less risky you say risk mitigation.
