A new and very appealing lady has asked me, in addition to the references I provided, to send an image of my license, only showing my face and first name. I’ve never shared my ID with anyone, and of course know once it’s out there I can’t get it back. Thoughts? Does this feel safe? Or safe enough?

This is some newer way for "verification" that is being used.

I dont know all the "ins/outs" of it.  But again only do what you feel comfortable with.

I have done it a few times and it doesn't bother me.   But again.... I am single, no kids, my job isn't an issue if they find out, etc.    

But I also made sure it was a good reproable providers that I did this with that had great track records.   That doesn't make anything immune by any means but helps with the fact of making it feel more safe so to speak.  

Anyways.... do what you feel most comfortable with.

This is where doing your due diligence and confirming that they are a reputable provider comes into play. The subreddit r/sexworkers has a great to-do list to follow. Hope that helps!

That's exactly right. Don't offer info at all unless you have confidence in the provider. Confidence on both sides is based on reputation/references/reviews.

I don’t mind proving mine as long as the provider has reviews and is legitimate. I actually prefer this over references since it’s quicker and references rarely respond these days. I’ve had a lot of providers ask me for this within the last 5+ years in the hobby. It’s not unheard of or new. I’d say it’s a pretty common way of screening these days.

I totally understand, respect, and appreciate most gals screening requirements. But, 8/8 of my dates in the past 9-months have been p411 screened. And they’ve been with gals with a page or two of TER reviews. I also proactively volunteer my LinkedIn url with my p411 screen. My recent bookings and meetings have been amazing.

Not sure about your situation? If she asked for references and then later asked for a photo ID pic, I might scratch my head. But scams and imposters are rampant and increasing for both parties - everyone should be aware.

I’ve met a few touring gals recently via incall. When I arrive to their area and text them to let them know I’m nearby, I also send a selfie from my car. So they know who to look for in the peep hole when I arrive. I’m the guy at your door with the short-sleeve red shirt, black backpack, and silly fucking grin. Common opsec.

I want to meet a couple gals that are not on p411 or TER this year. Yes, I will share my photo ID pic by email if necessary. But, only with Proton accounts. No gmail and certainly no verizon, att, or yahoo accounts.

If you or your paramour appreciate discretion, you will both avoid free email.

I will never upload my pic to a web site or form. Nope hard no.

I’m totally ok with cash USD deposits for first visits. I prefer CashApp to Venmo. I will not do BTC or Coinbase.

… but IMO proceeding with caution and giving my LinkedIn URL to a provider I’ve never met are mutually exclusive.  

If my P411 profile/OKs and/or references from reputable providers who know me aren’t good enough, I’ll say “okee doke” and move on.

P..S. If your LinkedIn profile has any photos of you, sharing it is the same as uploading your photo to a provider’s web site.  

P.P.S. Proton offers a free version of its email, albeit with limited storage.

Oh I agree. I only share my LinkedIn with gals who I’ve carefully researched and have a web site and brand they are obviously eager to protect just like me. Not random gals on Eros.

I have been using the free Protonmail for several years now and it works well.
