photo session with my sister yesterday, I realized the recent review was accurate about my weight.

Sorry that I had not realized I turned into a bbw after I got sober. I guess to me it doesn't matter because I know I'm hot still! lol. I just wanted to apologize for not realizing beforehand how much weight I had gained!! I weigh 185 & plan on going on a diet to get back down to the same size I was before I quit using!!

until then, I'm a voluptuous, sexy, full figured soft curvy bbw

That weight doesn't really make you a bbw because I know quite a bit of ladies that same weight & they don't look like a stereotypical bbw at all , curvy yes but a size 10-14 is pretty avg woman size in america.  When a FAT man to objectifes a womans body in a negative way it just makes my claws come out...confidence is a thousand times sexier than outward appearances any day imho.
Good job on your sobriety !
I'm mostly muscle so a lot of men would confuse that with being fat however I'd like to see them run the 5k's, do the warrior dash courses and all the other running around I do with two toddlers in tow on a daily basis without being completely exausted to see people & then call me that.
Good luck ! one more thing, it's ONE review. Why are you still giving them power over you?

There are some very very muscular women who would be considered BBW if they went by weight  because muscle weighs more than fat.

The generally accepted guidelines are:

MINI BBW -  size 12 - 16
BBW  -  Size 18 - 26
SSBBW - (super size BBW) size 28 +

Now, let's categorize all the BHM's (Big Handsome Men)!!!

I was a SSBBW at size 32, before I entered this business.  Like I said in the previous thread, no matter
what your size, carry it with confidence.  Confidence is sexy!!

Yet if you looked at my clothes size or weigh you might. I am 5'9 1/2 " and wear large to extra large or a size 12 to 16 depending on the brand ... My measurements also don't scream bbw. I am ok with curvy, baby fat, voluptuous, etc  maybe bbw is a negative term in my head idk but I do think its mostly how you feel and carry yourself .... As long as you represent yourself accurantly with your ads so the potential clients have an idea what to expect. We are beautiful in all sizes!!! Thankfully men love many different sizes.  Love yourself or no one else can.

Whose guidelines?

Height totally plays into it.  A Size 12-16 for someone who is five feet three inches is not the same as someone who is five feet nine inches.   I would hardly consider a taller person who wears that size a mini BBW.  Total BS.

And, she is a BBW-- a small one, yes, but a BBW nonetheless.  A size 12-16 may look differently on a tall person but it's still a size 12-16.

Clothing manufacturers use these guidelines and the sizes are getting smaller and smaller every year.
So, try that on for size!!    Seriously, in the 70's, size 16 and above was considered BBW, approximately 4 years ago, size 14 was the standard and about 2 years ago went to size 12.  The term SSBBW was started by NAAFA, a human rights group called National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance.  And, the term Mini BBW was added by it's members to distinguish the smallest of the BBW's.   You are arguing  with someone who has been a size 10 or more since age 12.  You really want to go there?

The height makes a large person look smaller because your eye naturally travels upward when you look at a tall person.  Height and weight have ZERO to do with these guidelines.   It's all about size!

And, once again, regardless of your size, where it with confidence!!  And pride!!

I got a little flustered.  My apologies.  It irritates me that an alias feels the need to argue with ME of all people about size and weight.    I have been plus size my entire fucking 48 yrs,  and have been nearly every  size between size 12 and size 32.  I did a freakin' term paper on it in college for my sociology class.  I do believe  I know something about the subject.

The main point is:  CONFIDENCE is what makes a person Sexy.  Not size, not shape, not color, not age.  Confidence and attitude is where it is at.  Perhaps we could all agree on that

There are those who are obese but there are also those who could stand to gain a few lbs.
The majority are what one would consider normal weight to 20 lbs overweight.   No matter,
they are all great!!!

Had the OP been a thin spinner this feed would take up 1/2 the page by now filled with hobbyists throwing out hoots & consoling words.

The fact is there is a wealth of gents who appreciate meat on their ladies. Trust me on that. Heaven forbid though they admit that publicly. OMG! What would the guys think?! It's really a shame. I look at it this way. If you're ashamed to admit you enjoy my company publicly, you don't deserve my company privately.

Alicia you are beautiful & there ARE enough gents who appreciate a lady of you stature that you can succeed just as you are.

Other people's opinions are not one of them.

As you lose your weight, the crap you put in your body will be released from fat storage and may give some uncomfortable feelings/memories. Stay clean in your diet and visit Ms. Dynamite because her theraputic massage skills are unmatched and she will help your body release those toxins and get really clean.

One day at a time and your are worth everything you need to put into it. You deserve health.

Stay clean and stick around. Life is pretty cool once you clean the garbage (chemicals and thoughts) from your brain.

It might just be that someone else knows as much or more than you do about the subject and simply disagrees with you.  That is not arguing.  It is disagreeing.  As you have pointed out yourself many times, this is a discussion board.  Using an alias has nothing to do with anything.

How about we agree on not labeling and categorizing people based on subjective terms?

And that's exactly how it should be... what matters is what YOU think.

As men we have been trained from birth that when a woman's weight is the topic the only safe response is no response.  Personally I have never met the OP so I have nothing to add other than I prefer to see real women and I am not a skinny guy myself.

like I said, even though I was surprised to see the pictures, I still know I'm hot! so that's the only thing to me that matters!... how I feel in my skin & not what some guy thinks! it was more of a "lol that guy was right!    I have gained weight but because I'm blonde, I didn't realize!! " more being funny giving myself crap... lol... ha ha!

my topic did get a good discussion going that we all come in many different shapes & sizes & that beauty's in the eye of the beholder!! I actually prefer bigger guys... but, smaller are just as nice!

have an awesome day everyone!
