True story. Recently had a Trojan Supra microsheer condom with spermicidal lubricant out of the wrapper and it was not needed. Threw it on my bedside table. Woke the next morning - OMFG - it had dissolved the varnish. In the future, purely as a safety precaution - not for my own pleasure, of course - I will point to the evidence and suggest serving my appetizer only bare because I care. On the upside it might get a laugh and the desired result. On the downside it might get no attention to the appetizer.
