I'm halfway through Season 4.  I started watching a week ago. That's 35 hours on my couch.

But it appears that I may have to put those down and start (GoT) which means another stack of books beside my bed. No more room in my bookcases!

But the further they got in, the more they broke off from the books.  It's pissing me off, and I haven't been watching the current season at all.

I can't wait for the Dark Tower movie(s)!!!!  Idris Elba is the Gunslinger and Matthew McConaughey is the Man in Black. I can't wait.

It's a different medium, particularly being a television show and not a movie or several movies.  George R.R. Martin has been heavily involved in the shows as well so I'm sure he had is say in the changes that were made.
