As usual, finding something stupid to say is easy for me :-)

I was searching through my wallet last week and found a wallet sized photo of two children. I am here thinking "who the hell are they"? I didn't recognize them. I looked on the back of the photo to see if it signed and dated. Nothing.
I then noticed a watermark of the photographer and Googled their name and by location of the photographer was able to figure out that the photo was given to me by my Cousin last year when I visited them in another State.

All I could do was to shake my head. How stupid.

An act of Congress--one of the few in recent years--moved it to the second Sunday in March.  I am not certain what the extension was for the expiration--sometime in November now, I believe.

...I'm getting too much beaver. The big brown buck toothed kind. They're gnawing down many small treelings on my property to build their damn dam on the creek. It wouldn't be so bad but the trees help provide privacy. Does anyone have good suggestions to protect my trees? I'd prefer to coexist with them 'cuz it's cool to have a beaver dam in an otherwise residential area. I don't want to harm them in any way. Sometimes the DNR will come and trap them and relocate them and tear down the dam. I think others have suffered flooded basements because of this. Thanks.

Why do British singers sound British talking but never do when they sing?

In some situations, water levels in the beaver pond may be controlled by special devices such as the Clemson beaver pond leveler . For information and technical assistance, contact your local DNR Area Wildlife Office. Clemson levelers can be purchased directly through Minncor .

Protect individual trees in your yard by placing hardware cloth cylinders at least 30" tall around the base of the tree. Energized fencing can protect larger areas.

If you in a situation where you can play music on a portable radio without pissing off neighbors or yourself for that matter the beaver will not build the damn and therefore not cut down the trees. Well researched and tested up north and its does work.

They have a very slight outflow pressure.  If you look close they will trail a very small line of air bubbles behind them.  In an emergency situation they can increase the outflow for a few seconds to greatly increase thier speed.  But it takes them a long time to recover from this.   LOL
