Paypal (& it's associates like Venmo) are not SW/industry friendly 90% of the time. Therefore, if you use it and are not discreet about the transaction (re: putting "consulting fee" or "deposit" in the notes), your account, along with the providers could be flagged & shut down. This should come as no surprise considering even big name banks have been known to shut down SW/industry individual's checking/credit card accounts due to "suspicious activity" (re: paying for ads usually).  

 
So, while I'm sure there are plenty of us that do take PayPal (*raises hand*) if you decide to use PayPal, make sure you use it discreetly.

Money!!

I take cash...... or if they are a regular client I will accept gift cards as well.  I am NOT a techy person and plan on keeping it that way.  Remember to always K.I.S.S......Keep it simple stupid!!!  lol.

I had someone pay for a weekend session, and I was out of town with 99% of my money on my paypal card, and they froze my account for 6 months. Make sure you have a shell business set up and ready to go if they ever happen to ask you for proof of business.

I personally now can only take Gift Rocket, because Square did the EXACT SAME.
