I think my stops for my trip will be....

Des Moines
Clear Lake
Mankato
Minneapolis

Then I think I will stop in St. Cloud??
Fargo??
Maybe Grand Forks, if people live there.. :)
Then Grand Rapids, MN (yes, I know that is in the middle of nowhere but I want to stop by the forest)
Then on to Duluth (one of my favorite places ever)

Not sure the exact dates just yet but it's looking like mid June (as long as I have no set backs)

Looking Forward to a wonderful trip.

All my info is on my website.

LOL, good point.  However, I have been to Clear Lake before and know at least a few people live there.  I haven't wandered up to Grand Forks just yet.  I honestly have never heard of Grand Forks until I was looking at a route from Fargo to Grand Rapids.  Hwy 2, straight shot from Grand Forks and I bet it is such a beautiful drive!!
Also, I checked the weather there and it looks like floods... Please let them go away before I get there.  I can't swim!!! :)

Oh, I know you'll really enjoy the work being done to HWY 35 coming into Duluth. The good thing is that there may not be any ice on the highway in June.

Oh man tell me that have that bridge (or whatever that big curved thing in the air is called) fixed?  Last summer that thing was so dangerous!  I got in right as dark hit and it was raining, thought I was going to slip off the bridge right into the lake!

and the 360 degree horizon.  If there is anywhere that you have to have faith in the road it is in the Red River (of the North) Valley.  I think it's low tide in Grand Forks now.  The Bemidji area is fabulous though for scenery.

I'd rather see farmland everyday than live in the city. Once you get to Crookston the scenery starts to change.

It would be excellent if you would stop in St. Cloud on your tour....
