You & those like you boil my blood!
This young lady is hurting. DO YOU GET THAT?! Put yourself in her shoes. She is young & new to the review boards. She got slammed HARD in her most recent review from a total douche bag early on in her career as a provider. Perhaps that douche is you hiding like a pussy behind that stupid alias of yours? Hmmmm......
She came to this board trusting participants could & would offer support & guidance. Thank god some of us were willing to provide that for her but lo & behold, as usual, the misogyny or hateful provider (which ever you are) has to jump at the chance to bully the new kid. PFFT!
She tried to address the issue with TER & failed to get the response she had hoped for. Another slap in the face for her. So now she is venting. BIG DEAL! I'd like to see how you would react under these circumstances. Don't you dare tell me you wouldn't be hurting & piping mad. JUST DON'T!
People here will validate that provider interaction (on this board anyway) HAS in fact dropped. Substantially I might add. Why? Because of ASS HATS LIKE YOU!
That is all!
You misunderstand entirely. I realise this is a crappy situation to find yourself in and I have and had no intention of making any comment about it - which is why I haven't. I've only talked about Chanel's comments about provider participation here and that's all I intend to talk about. The nature of the review or admin's handling of it is not something I have addressed or will address.
I was referring to the attitude that I see all too often from new users of this site, both male and female. Either a review doesn't get approved and said reviewer has to take to the boards to complain that their review didn't get posted and as such the system should be like x/y/z idea they have, or a girl can't get a review removed for whatever reason and then insists that the site is awful and there must be better, or things must change, or whatever. If you're a new user here and something doesn't go your way, it appears the very first step must be to call out the staff, say the site is terrible, complain, or all of the above.
It never seems to occur to anyone that has either situation happen to them that decisions are made based on a great deal of past experience and knowledge, and are not meant as some personal attack on your individual character or credibility. Admin can only act upon the information that is available to them, which, in these situations, is always incredibly limited.
The site has been around for 15 years. Chanel has been using it for 15 seconds. Things are not perfect, clearly, but they are this way for a reason, and those reasons are not going to change via the venting of those who haven't been here long enough to know up from down. If you don't like the answers you get from admin, there is no obligation to stay here, but the idea that you can come in and either demand change or let loose a rallying cry for others to abandon the site for something better makes *my* blood boil, especially when this site, amongst many other things, provides you with free advertising and publicity.
Last time I checked, no one was obligated to use the site.
