Hi everyone, I’m seeking some advice. I’ll be visiting Mpls more frequently and will be scheduling dates. I prefer to create a loose schedule to stay organized. My question is, what’s the ideal timeframe for the initial request? Is 3-4 weeks too early? Or is a few days out the perfect spot? I’d appreciate any insights!

Really depends on the provider. Some providers like to have their books filled in advance, some prefer appointments be made within the same week. I’ve even seen some who won’t make appointments earlier than same day. It also often depends on the length of the date. 1 hours are pretty easy to find space for in a schedule, whereas overnights/multi-day dates obviously may be harder to fit into someone’s schedules.
I currently have appointments in my books as far as December. I personally love having dates in my calendar weeks out - I love the anticipation and I find men who can plan extremely attractive.  
To keep things running smoothly and ensure you get to see your provider of choice, I’d suggest earlier contact (3-4 weeks). You’ll likely have to put down a deposit to secure the date.

Great question...and honestly, one a lot of thoughtful gentlemen don’t ask often enough.

 
It really is respective to each individual provider. I’d recommend making a short list of the women you’re hoping to meet and checking their websites first. Many of us include booking timelines or preferences there.

 
Keep in mind that not every provider does this as a full-time career. Or if it is their full-time career, they usually have other responsibilities such as children or they may be touring-heavy providers. Therefore, some may need more lead-up time (two to four weeks) to plan around their schedules, while others may be more flexible. There are also companions who are low-volume &/or in particularly high demand, and that affects availability as well.

 
And to address the deposit comment an individual posted, every provider’s deposit policy matters. If a provider requires a deposit, a booking typically isn't confirmed until the deposit is received. Some do provide some "grace periods" or 48 hours or so. However, sometimes clients lose their spot simply because payment wasn’t remitted promptly. It’s not personal... it’s just part of the business side of what is, by nature, a very personal industry.

 
So I’d say: do your research, respect each provider's process, and plan early if you can. The anticipation is half the fun anyway. 😉

It is respective to each provider and dependent on their schedules and checking their website/profiles is the best way to go about it. I’m only in Minneapolis every other week, a total of 8 days a month which makes my schedule pretty limited. But on those days I’m doing nothing but working. If our schedules line up, booking in advance is recommended and I do not require a deposit but I do require any cancellations be done at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. In that respect, I am more than happy to take last minute appointments but that also means you’re taking a chance on whether I have an opening and how long the verification process takes (which is usually dependent on how easy the client wants to make it).  Getting pre-verified can simplify this process.  

This is just an example of one provider, and I doubt there is anyone out there with the same requirements/availability.  

To note, I also share a space and an assistant with another provider so if you are verified with one of us, you are verified with us both. Meaning at any specific time if one of us isn’t available, there is a chance the other one might be.

Absolutely agreed, Ana. Clients who wait until the same day to inquire, especially if they aren’t already pre-screened, often underestimate how much coordination happens behind the scenes.

 
Screening isn’t just about safety; it’s timing, communication, and respect for everyone’s energy. If a prospective client relies on references only, we are also at the mercy of the responsiveness of other providers, and that can take anywhere from an hour to several days. So a same-day request isn’t impossible, but it’s rarely realistic.

Pre-verification is truly the simplest way to ensure everything flows smoothly. It turns the process from a scramble into a sense of anticipation… something both o people can actually enjoy.

Maybe I am different. I love to have something on my calendar fun to look forward to plan, prepare, create. I love advance planning!
