Does it look trashy or classy gentlemen?

Is there perhaps something a lady can do to make watermarking look better in your eyes?
(so that ladies can protect their photos from being stolen by pimps & other girls who use them instead of their own!!!)

I don't think it would really even be noticed by me as either trashy or classy and it looks like she had her phone number on the stolen pictures but it was removed somehow. Maybe there is a way to make it hard to remove?

I have to agree on that one 2late...... is this not the same providers that attacked a guy for making comments about weight??? I think we should all zip it unless you have something positive to say......and mud slinging is very hard to clean up. If you use photos on your profile you obviously feel they are representative and flattering and for those that do not use them....they obviously have a reason to not post any....... and for those that steal, the person being plagerized should also be flattered. end of story

Despite Nago's rude motive behind his comment he does make good points at times. I looked past that aspect and agreed with ONE part of it which is;  
SHE HAS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.

I'm only going by the pattern of what BP picture thieves tend go for and hers don't really fit the bill, of course mine don't either but IDGAF about photos, I'm not into revealing too much of myself for my own privacy and I don't have time to sit & take a bunch of selfies all day like other people do anyway .

I've seen some women hold signs with their name and #.  When someone is new or have only a few reviews it does help the impression that the photo is somewhat recent and not stolen.  Probably not a bad idea when every month a suburb thinks they need to put a sting on.

  Some providers even encourage tin-eye or google searches and that can help but I have seen some that just expect you to believe them when the actual search shows them in two states at the same time

I do run a photo production company as well as do marketing/business development and PA work for other providers ..

Alicia, you dont have to be concerned about anyone using your pics on your ads because they are low quality selfies.. that is not to imply that the model/provider in them is low quality.  
When pics are stolen most of the time its typically pro photos, selfies of porn stars, models , b-rated film actresses from other countries etc, there are websites actually that you can purchase photos from a well and its not a practice I encourage..
I think you would do well investing in having some pro photos taken, my photo production company is provider friendly as well as a few others in the twin cities , and I know Aldo frequents here as well,,  

The whole classy versus trashy thing doesnt just stop at your photos, it also involves how you speak, present yourself, the content/words you use in your advertizing..  

Alicia, your greatest quality as I see it , is your energizer bunny enthusiasm.. and I hope that pizzaz personality is something that roles over into your sessions.. Causie it very clear in your postings that you really want to please your clients.. but in the land of a million words , why limit yourself ?  

A good way to answer your question is to look at the top 100 list in the country,, and go to those providers profiles and check out their websites and their galleries and how the present themselves.
Alot of their pics are right click protected, so they dont do watermarking  

Good Galleries have a mix of selfies and pro photos, and if you are looking to market yourself as an "Escort" in the term of going out for dinners, galas, events, then you need to have a gallery that would be very similar to a modeling portfolio ,,  Casual, Business, Cocktail dress, Evening gown, Swimsuit, and Lingerie.. not have it all be just pictures of you in that one area, if you want your clients to imagine you outside the bedroom then you need to have pictures of you outside your bedroom :)

I like to go with the pinup type style of pictures because thats more my personality,, and I have a mix of pics ,, one of these days i need to get around to updating..  

Holidays are coming up so this is a great time to do a "postcard" shoot with a holiday theme  

Does that make sense?

BP girls will and do steal photos regardless of pic quality.  Body type, hair color etc are what they might be looking for.  Protect your photos if you can.

I've been using BP before it was even called that, back then we couldn't even upload photos ourselves. Mostly because we used the newspaper so they put it up for us. If you wanted one up, we had to ask.
Watermarks etc only do so much as I still continue to see my sisters 7 yr old WATERMARKED modeling photos from when she was a 4'11 spinner type from time to time .  
Perhaps they should resort to not having a photo upload option anymore like they did back then so then they'd have to send it in to be verified because that seemed to thwart the problem

It's usually a general thread to open discussion up on various subjects pertaining to the hobby world!!! :) I do NOT open up threads just/all about me!! I pretty much do my own thing whenever I feel like it!! Please keep that in mind from now on whenever you see me post a question!! I feel TER should be a good place to open up discussion about anything dealing with this community!! Therefore, I try asking questions that apply to all hobbyists/providers to try to stir up good didiscussion to build this community up stronger!!

As you can see, I was never really asking about my pictures alone!! In fact, I used to use a watermark... But, I didn't like how it looked on my pictures... So, I stopped using it!! Now, unless I can find a good program to use to watermark with... I will not watermark! Just my personal preference!

First of all, when a lady posts a general question asking if PROVIDERS would be better off doing A or B, I don't think it is appropriate to say "Well don't worry honey, that won't apply to you!" She didn't ask about watermarking HER pictures. This could be a good tidbit of advice for other new girls reading (who now may be scared to post a question because of the judgement from others). Simply answering the question is all that is necessary, regardless to whether it will or will not apply to her. Watermarks are smart no matter what your pics look like.  

 
If you have seen my pics you see how I watermark them... I do type my name on *nearly* EVERY pic I post on here.... and the name HAS to be TOUCHING MY BODY in some way, making it MUCH harder to erase than if it were on the edges of the photo and could just be cropped out. I have had my photos stolen, and decide to watermark for my own sake as well as those looking at my pics. If you know Natalie Chambers, you know someone will have a hard time faking me! Lol. :)

First, they offer little protection for anyone with even Photoshop Elements, much less the pro versions.  Watermarks are easily "removed" unless they're overwhelming, in which case they are trashy.

Second, I've always felt they detract from the photo. A good photo always directs the viewer what to look at first, second and third. Provider or photographer names/numbers are distracting, IMHO. The same applies to "imagecoast" and the like.  

I feel the same way about cars. If you have a license plate, or even worse, a sticker with your car dealership name on it, how does that improve the look of your car?

Prevention. The best you can do is to keep your resolution (file size) just large enough for the posting. The higher the resolution, the easier it is to remove the watermark.
