almost any hotel is "safe". The only ones that I think are exceptions are hotels/motels with an outside door to the rooms (Red Door Inn is a prime example). In this type of setup, EVERYONE (including LE) can see who and how many are coming and going. I believe it is a dead giveaway, most especially if a lady is higher volume. For obvious reasons, I also would not visit the type of hotels/motels that streetwalkers frequent. One other type that leaves me a little uncomfortable is the type of hotel with the big atriums in the middle with the rooms circling the open atrium. Occassionally, but not always, the registration desk has a clear view of the rooms and they MAY notice excessive comings and goings and that would not be good. I have stayed at hotels with this setup but have not had any problems, in part, I am sure because I screen quite well. I have gone to outcalls to Residence Inn's without incident. I would not, however, work from one. The office is usually open and the desk staff, in my opinion, is very aware of who is coming and going.
Danger areas seem to be Bloomington, especially along the 494 strip near the MOA and the airport. The far ends of 494 are fine. Also, St Paul, Brooklyn Center, and, yes, Burnsville seem to be higher risk locations. But, even those areas are generally safe, if you are discreet, do not draw attention to yourself, and do your homework.
I have toured to Vegas, NYC, Chicago, Duluth, St. Cloud, Milwaukee and Madison and have never had an issue. I would and do suggest to ladies that they blur their face in their pics if they tour and visit hotels (either incall or outcall). More and more, housekeeping and security staff are being trained to spot prostitutes and drug traffic in their hotels. They are given $100 bonuses for turning us in.
I guess the key points to ensuring safety are:
1. do your homework (both hobbyists and ladies)
2. Do not draw undue attention to yourself. Be discreet.
3. And avoid hotels/motels where a ladies traffic/volume is visible to outside folks.
Happy and safe hobbying, everyone!
