There are many reasons providers are in this line of work. Street walkers may not be in it by choice. Chinese massage ladies may not be in it by choice. BP body rub ladies may be in it by choice. Escorts with incall locations may be in this by choice. I'm going to guess that if a lady is advertising and participating on TER, they are in this by choice so the comments are going to be skewed.
Another way to distract the public from finding out that the majority of sex workers are tbh just redistributing wealth to the working class woman. That's why they hate us so much . Making us seem unemployable and "too damaged" to fit in with everyone else? Ive met many fine girls here and have never got that impression from them! Every one Ive seen seems to truly enjoy what they are doing! That's the other thing. Every media source only points to sex trafficking. I know there's other types of work people traffic human beings for including custodial occupations...but, that's for another thread.

Politicians, LE, and the media can't get any sizzle to their i sex-for-money expose agenda with stories involving consenting adults. ZZZZZZZ Snoooore... sooooooo to jazz things up a bit they talk about "sex slaves" and "sex trafficking" and if they really want to sensationalize things they bring "children" into story! I suppose there is some child sex trade and the scum that are involved in this sort of thing should be shot, but my guess is that this sort of thing is quite rare realative to the activity of consenting adults. The media and politicos deal in sensationalism and sizzle-not facts.
Re the AMP ladies, as Derp says, most are supporting kids either here or there. I know several with kids at U of M.
