You didn't think that it was going to happen. Under Gov. Walz's emergency order, there was a guy who got nailed for violating those orders when he went to see a prostitute at a suburban hotel, probably Bloomington! LOL. I wonder how it went down, did he tell LE when he was pulled over on the road, and say, "I'm on my way to see a companion." Or did he got caught with his hands in the cookie jar in the room?

My guess would be one or both of them managed to do something that caught the attention of the hotel/motel staff who then called the police.

Adding a violation of the emergency order is also probably easier to prove much of the time than the original crime they were charged with.

I think you're right; it probably was several scenarios. He either walked into the sting or hotel staff saw something. Or it could be like a previous case, where a companion went back to the same hotel where she was kicked out of. Then the hotel security saw her, and a client or two go into her room. Then make so much noise that the whole floor heard them. LOL

When I read the article, I did think that someone did not keep their mouth shut, and then there was a prostitution charge. Both the client and companion have to keep their mouth shut. LE is known to use to same song and dance, "are you married?" "did you drive here?" or "wait until your family finds out."

these are tack on charges.  Doesn't matter the other crime, they just add that one because they can.
