Two reasons for answering your thread.

Second, if a SP says, 'she only has one opening left, book early, or I only have so much time' DOES NOT MEAN SHE IS HIGH VOLUME. It is a marketing strategy.
I for one am low volume. I have a VERY full personal life that I enjoy living. I do not like being at the beck and call of some horny trick (no disrespect intoned, I just like the phrase).  
I have said all of the things you mention to show my time is valuable to me and I only have a limited number of 'cum slut' hours I will bone up from my personal life.

Now personally, when I see an ad with a HUGE reduction in price from a ladies website (say half of her regular rate) and she only posts her monthly special right about when rent is due, I assume she is the high volume provider.
OR
The girls that have such a low rate and they rush you out of the door soon as you blow. I assume they are high volume providers.
You never NEVER hear either type of those girls mention they don't have time for you. THOSE are the high volume girls.

If I only see 6 clients a month does that make me high volume?
NOPE.
I often advertise that I only have one slot left to fill, because I someone may have cancelled earlier in the month and I want to make the income up some where.
It is all about supply and demand. If I offer less time, the demand is greater.

Two reasons for starting this thread:  haven't seen a thread with a lot of action and two, I am wondering if the high volume providers are for some reason more addicting, or portray an image that bring more clients to the door.  Are they just more accessible, easier to set up an appointment with,  or do they just make it sound like they are high volume with statements like, I have one opening left for that day at such and such time, or I can only do a half hour and book early as I fill up fast.  May be it good marketing on their part, or dose everybody like a cum slut. (No disrespect intoned, I just like the phrase)

All that thread is about is a slow provider bitching about a review.

I doubt most ladies here are high volume and I agree with the very low rates statement
most of those are quick connects to just bust a nut & leave in 15-20 minutes .

Some of us have busy lives outside of the business, and only work part time.  Everyone is different.  But to assume that a provider is trying to sound like she's high volume, or is high volume because she states that she has one opening left that day, or can fit you in for a half hour is, well, ignorant.  I say ignorant because you (or anyone for that matter) don't know what her life entails.  

Maybe she only sees two clients, three days a week.  Maybe she wasn't planning on working that day, but decided to fit you in at the last minute, between her nail or hair appointment, working out, cleaning, running errands, whatever....

We are independents, which means that, gratefully, we work our own schedules, and do not have to answer to anyone, generally.

Yes, I'm sure there are high volume girls who really are that busy (what is high volume, anyway?  It's relative to something-low volume?)

Maybe they're just simply busy and not trying to fool anyone with some marketing ploy.  

I think, unless you have worked on this side of the trade, it isn't possible to fully "get it".  And, just accept the fact that we are all different.  Some of us are busier than others.  

But, like you stated, maybe you were just bored with recent threads and wanted some "action"?

Nonetheless, maybe it's time to define "high volume" and "low volume" and everything in between.

A lot of us have very full personal lives sometimes another job for others it can be a marketing ploy.
Some people are busier than others too. No big deal to me.

Most of my time in the hobby is weeding out the incompatible people amongst the ones I wanna see.
that alone is very time consuming.
In case you didn't realize time flies while doing that. I mean it can take 2-3 hrs to go through tons of emails make/take calls and verification, confirmations so on so forth so say a person
only has a 4-5 hr window to see people yes that means they book up fast.

I for one DO have an extremely full life & the hobby isn't the center of it, so yep I'm low volume
just because its says I'm available 7 days a week from this time to that time
doesn't mean I'm hanging out at my incall day in/day out waiting for people to show up or ill take a last minute appointment.
what do you think most of us ladies do all day? eat candy and watch TV getting fucked during the commercial breaks ?

For me high volume is 5-6 clients a day. Maybe I'm the exception but, I also have waxing clients along with massage clients (2-3 massages a day only), so I expect to see more people on a daily basis. But that's not always the case. I sometimes post that I only have 1 or 2 appts left so I can fill time slots left for that day.
If I give the impression I'm high volume, to me that's great. I'm in demand, what girl doesn't want to be?!  I dont have any family obligations but I don't want to work past 6-7pm. I also dont want to see anyone before 10am. Also my weekends are for relaxing & enjoying life. That's just me. So if I can keep busy between 10am & 7pm that's what my hours will be & stay at. For me it's not a marketing ploy, just good business sense to let people know what's available & what ISN'T.

I have to applaud the FS ladies, getting ready for a FS session is exhausting!!!
Clothes, makeup, ambiance, attitude, mentality, music, clean apt, drinks & anything else I missed.
One word: STRESSFUL
