The way you just requested was not good to begin with...  When and if they have one, they try to keep it UTR and OFF the boards and NOT for public knowledge.

Then the best way to get included would be to never do all of the things you just did.

Nearly everyday, something said on this board astonishes me. This is the post that does it for today.

This is your very first post, you are not a VIP, you have no reviews, but yet you would like to meet some of the top providers (for free, I presume) in this area.  

Frankly, from just your writing style I doubt most of the "top notch talent & nothing less" would be interested in meeting you under any circumstances.

I apologize for yelling at you, but is there any way the clusterfuck original post can be deleted? I don't know if there is a meet & greet in the works or not, but if there is, and the organizers have elected not to publicize it on this very public board, then TER ought to abide by that decision for the good of the hobby.

If, god forbid, the alias is actually hiding a provider as opposed to a hobbyist, then I would regretfully feel the poster ought to be outed, once again for the good of the hobby, as it would mean this is nothing more or less than a jealous  effort to spike any activity that is being contemplated. Probably because she is not on the list.

We are the only TER board in which someone gets rocks thrown at them for simply asking a question. And why not ask? Honestly, how do you expect someone to get on a list if they have no way of requesting an invite? It appears he is simply trying to find out the way to do so. Unfortunately for him, this question is considered taboo on the MN board.

There are no stupid questions and you never know the answer until you ask, right? All you have to do is not answer the stupid question.

Anyway, back to the OP, I have not been invited to any local parties since Tiger’s, though I am invited to out-of-state ones all of the time. So to anyone who wants to see me at a meet and greet, feel free to fly to New York City or Chicago to see me at one. Otherwise, feel free to contact me for our own one-on-one meet and greet. He didn't ask for information to be posted on the boards, he included his email.  He didn't reveal any top secret information about a meeting, so he didn't out any gatherings that might be happening.  He simply said that he'd love to be included and screened for a M&G if one should happen this summer.

I'm not really sure what the big deal is.  How would you have preferred he find information?

I think the best way is to develop a good history and reputation as M&Gs locally are largely UTR events these days.  Unfortunately, that takes time.  If there is someone well connected enough who knows you and is willing to vouch for you then you have a shot.

The best way to get an invite is to pick one of those top premium ladies you asked about and ask for a private meeting first.

Fill out their contact form, have some good references ready or solid work info, or join a verification site, and then have a wonderful
Top Premium session with one of them.

Perhaps during the session you'll have a chance to ask her if you can be placed on any invite list she might know of to any meet and greet that might be happening.

It's not really that hard to be included.  Just be a Top Premium client.  : )

this is a person with no TER history asking a question that has been asked and answered a number of times already in recents months.  Not only that, it has been answered in exactly the same manner EVERY time it has been asked.  

I have been very vocal on this board, advocating for our hobby community and our rights to do as we wish, to stand up and take back what we lost one year ago.   However, that does not mean we must not remain vigil and stay safe while doing so.  

Giamarie, this virtual stranger comes to our community, asks a question that has been asked a dozen times and does so with a certain degree of smugness and entitlement, and, clearly, insults those who would host the M&G.  So, please, explain to me, and the others who would be in attendance, what part of this is fair and acceptable behavior?  

A question that should not have been asked in the first place was turned into your own little advertisement, GML.  In my opinion, that is the biggest shame of all.  

It is a sad day for me.  It is a day that makes me question the true identity of the OP.  Again, as individuals and as a group, we must remain vigil and safe while recapturing the sense of adventure and freedom that we all lost one year ago.
